Thanks to Warner Bros, who sent us a plethora of direct links to the brand new teaser trailer for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” including an iPod friendly version, plus High Def links for Quicktime and Windows Media as seen below. Enjoy!
Did anyone notice that this trailer for the Half Blood Prince doesn’t actually feature… the half blood prince? And no Draco, who’s part in this is pretty stinking important… I suppose if Voldemort is only going to be in the movie in memory, they’d want to at least play up those memories, so they’re focusing their attention on child Voldemort. Still, with that being the case, if they DID drop the Gaunts, I think that’s pretty stupid.
At least book 7 will be given proper respect by being given 2 movies, but I really want this one to be good. The trailer looked good, so I’ll see.
I agree wholly, Bob – giving the Gaunts the boot would be a quite a disappointment. The 7th movie split is sort of my fallback – any time a cut scene gets me down, I remember we’ll be getting two movies for TDH (yet somehow it’s my least favorite of all the books … you can’t have everything, I suppose).
I’ve always been indifferent to HP trailers in the past. They never got me excited about seeing the films. But this one did! I loved reading about young Voldemort in HBP. It was absolutely CHILLING and I LOVE this trailer!!!!! Can’t wait til November!!!!!
does anybody know if teh trailer coming out tomorrow with the mummy is teh same as this coz i remeber reading in some dif coments that it will be teh new full trailer coming out with the mummy but havnt heard anything else since so i dont know now anybody heard anything on this subject????
Wowzers this looks great so far, it’s going to be ri-dic-ul-ous! Poor Ron lying on the floor like that, poisoned! Looks like a sad/intense scene. Also, I wonder what scene that was with Ginny dropping her wand like that, looks scary.

I loved it last night i watched it over and over and over again.
I thought Michael Gambon actually seemed to be playing the role of Dumdledore quite well. I hope it is like that through out the entire movie
The trailer looks like they’ve nailed the mood of the book…..I hope it plays throughout the whole film! The cave scene and explaination of horcruxes is CRUCIAL!
your right, twins_rock, after seeing the mugglenet frame-by-frame of the hbp trailer, i can see someone who isn’t Harry staring at Ginny through the reeds. i’m pretty sure it’s Greyback. he definetly looks creepy enough. he’s probably the one who disarmed Ginny too. my question is, what the heck is Ginny doing by a creek at night? any suggestions?
thank you John! i didn’t read your comment on the second page, so i had no idea what Ginny was doing in that marsh. the burrow fighting scene sounds awesome, even if it’s not in the book:)
"Hermione," said Ron in a low and indignant voice, "are you going to stop telling Harry off and listen to Binns, or am I going to have to take notes instead?"
thanks-links!
