Previously we reported actor Dan Radcliffe was among those included on The Hospital Club’s hot list of nominees for their inaugural ranking of 100 British creative figures. The Independent now has a follow up online which lists the top 40 individuals chosen, placing the Harry Potter actor at number 16 on the list. The article notes that, due to the democratic style of voting for this honor, some placements may seem controversial, and goes on to say “These people are not necessarily power brokers, they are creative leaders who are seen as inspirational figures. So, for the first time, you see establishment figures alongside young and emerging talent.” Dan Radcliffe is joined by such figures as musician Mark Ronson, TV presenter Jonathan Ross, fashion designer Stella McCartney, and actor James Macavoy on the Hospital Club 100 list. As our previous post stated, a party for all winners will take place this evening at the Hospital Club in London’s Covent Garden.
So many acknowledgements at the age of 18. Hope the tide continues to flow throughout his future. Congratulations to Dan Radcliffe – hope he has a good time at the party. (I also saw on another site that he and Robert Pattinson (Cedric) made VH1’s Hottest Hunks Under 25 list – Dan was #12 and Robert #15. Boy – hottest hunk and creative leadership all on the same day). (comment section not showing up again?)
u know, come to think of it, i can count on one hand how many awards rupert has gotten… but i need my toes and my hands and a few others’ as well to count dans and emmas
Congrats Dan for making another prestigious list. Well, it’s not another “hot and sexy” list so that’s gotta count. It’s interesting that he was nominated for his achievements in Equus rather than in HP. ..
And I wonder if Dan will attend the party… Is he home from his trip to New York?
It’s great that Dan is listed so high up – and that James McAvoy, Jonathan Ross et al atre too, but Agyness? The woman is pointless!! Anyway, congrats to them, Dan certainly did get a lot of people interested in the West End last year.
Something very strange is going on with this board. I commented last night, offering my congratulations, and now my message is gone. When I first read the story, yesterday, it said there were 8 comments, but I couldn’t see any at all.
Weird.
Anyway, congratulations to Dan.
