It would seem our streak of good news has come to an end, as Coming Soon.com is reporting today they have confirmed the trailers that will be shown before the new Batman film, “The Dark Knight,” and a teaser trailer for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is NOT among those listed. Putting an end to the earlier rumors that at long last we might see a teaser trailer for the sixth Harry Potter film, Coming Soon also speculates that they believe it might be shown as late as August 15, in front of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” however that is unconfirmed at this time. So its back to the waiting and guessing time again folks, sorry!
Wow. On the one hand, I can understand how it might be too early. This summer has seen a glut of big-budget high-impact movies, and people are going to want to cool down.
But at the same time…August 15th? That’s three months before it hits the theaters. That’s not much time to drum up enthusiasm, especially since people are losing interest.
Like me. I’m starting to give up on the Harry Potter franchise. Not enough information, not even a musical clip. These photos are nothing. No substantial interviews. It’s taking so long that it’s boring me…and that’s something I don’t like to admit.
Just gotta wonder if they are waiting until after the verdict in the trial of Warner Brothers against the Lexicon. It just seems odd that we neither have a verdict or a teaser. Connected?
Wow… This is sad!!! I mean, really WB?? Just give us something!!!! We’re dying here!!! The sixth book was my favorite and I’m dying for the movie!!! Help a brother out WB!!!
The only new thing we’ve seen from this film is a picture of Slughorn (who doesn’t look anything he’s described; we might as well go watch Jim Broadbent in Indy 4 to see what he’ll look like).
Whoa, I can’t believe people are saying that they are losing interest in HP…. That’s kind of harsh, eh? I`m getting as impatient as a mother too, but I don’t think I would ever lose interest in HP. I mean, we`re all fans, right ?!
I have a better idea….Why not putting the freaking trailer in front of the actual film??? I really can’t see what’s going on..I can’t understand this kind of marketting..it just doesn’t make any sense…
No trailer, no poster, no good pictures, no web site!!!!What are they playing at?
@Tom… adding new scenes and ommiting some doesn’t make a film bad…Having EVERYTHING in does….I just thought I should mention it..
O…M…G How ridiculous is it gonna get? Less than 5 months away and nothing but a couple of pictures? If WB thinks theyre getting people excited and more interested theyre not, its just making people lose interest. I mean whats the point of waiting so dang long to release it?
The Great Hall was normally decorated with the winning House's colors for the Leaving Feast. Tonight, however, there were black drapes on the wall behind the teachers' table. Harry knew instantly that they were there as a mark of respect to Cedric.
