As we reported previously, the “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” film and a number of its cast, along with Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling, were nominees at the 2008 SyFy Genre Awards. These virtual awards allow fans to vote for their favorite film, series, book, and actor from the science fiction and fantasy genre each year. The winners of the SyFy Awards have been announced and include actress Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), in the category of Best Actress in a Film, as well as “Order of the Phoenix” in the category of Best Film. In addition to this, the article notes that Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling was chosen to receive the Gene Roddenberry Lifetime Achievement award. Congratulations to all!

C’MON people, SyFy Awards is a virtual awards that lets FANS vote for their favorites, EMMA won the award, that only means she’s GOT LOTS OF FANS who love and voted for her, let’s just RESPECT that. Frankly, I’m one of them and it really hurts reading negative comments on one of the most important character of our favorite novel Harry Potter. FOR ME and my collegues..WE LOVE YOU EMMA and CONGRATULATIONS FOR WINNING AND TO ALL YOUR ACHIVEMENTS.
CONGRATULATIONS too, to JK ROWLING, for contributing a wholesome lifetime of reading.
‘hater hater hater :)’ you noticed the eyebrow thing too? damn me and my sister got laughs outta that. i was watching it randomly and she was being annoyingly nice (my sister aint normally nice haha) and i was getting so mad i was like “have you seen her eyebrows they’re mental!” just keep going up and down, they have a mind of their own.
so i kept rewinding bits with her eyebrows going crazy and trying to make mine move like that hahaha.
but congratz to her anyway. she’s still a good hermione, in my opinion anyways. and congratz to jo too.
i agree with what people are saying though.. not sure why emma was chosen over people like helena bonham carter! she’s amazing. like seriously! unless of course it was just a popularity votes…
