At the recent National Movie Awards, actress Emma Watson made very brief comments to reporters on the red carpet regarding the delay of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” In this video via YouTube, Emma can be heard saying what while she feels they have done the right thing for the movie, she also appeared sympathetic as she noted it was terrible that fans don’t get an installment in the series this year and that the suspense will make it even better once we get to see it. Emma has also updated her blog at her official website noting how much fun she had at the movie awards. You can see photos of Emma at the event here in our image galleries, new photos at her official site taken by her father, and additional videos of Emma at the awards ceremony via our Order parter Emma-Watson.net.

She has to say she thinks the move to next year is a good idea, because WB are her bosses!

Guys if you want to complain about the changes and about the movie you could call Nickie on 020 7984 5244 in Warner Bros.

she probably can’t say anything bad about WB, after all, they are paying her. love the dress ;-)

Of course she thinks “it’s the right thing for the movie”, because she stands to make more money if the film makes more money, just as WB does. She has just as much a vested interest as WB.

The dress is pretty, but it’s seems like it’s a bit too big for her, or maybe just the dress style needs someone with a bit more, ummm.. full, voluptuous figure?

She looked very pretty….just needs to work on her posture and that dress would look better if she had the cleavage to fill it out…then she would have been stunning.

I have never blamed any of the actors or actresses for the delay as they have no more control over such things than we do, i have never heard of even the biggest box offices stars being given such control over any film they worked on. while WB signs her pay check i doubt that they would fire her if she critized the delay, as i think the up roar over such a move by wb would likely be worse than the delay, and the same would go for daniel and rupert as well, 5 movies in to there series has made them irreplaceable unless they could not phsyically do it ( death or major permanant injuries, i wish neither on any of them ) example the role of Dumbledore, if not for his death Richard harris would still be playing him. at any rate its good to hear any of the actors commenting on it, i just wish JKR would say something, even though there is nothing she can do about it

That pink dress is very English. The English styles are stuffy, fluffy and too antiquated. That’s what they call beautiful? She looked as if she were wearing a curtain. The stuffy royals wear that kind of matronly outfit. Young girls should not. I also hated her hair in that scene, which was stiff and flat. Ugh.

It makes me laugh reading people making comments like ‘she needs to work on her posture’ things like that, cut her some slack FFS! I love that she is very much just a normal (albeit beautiful) girl and not going out of her way to be like all the other young actresses and celebrities who do act like robots half the time with fake everything.

She’s cute, I would definitely…kiss her…if she wanted me to…which she wouldn’t…but I can dream.

Emma is a beautiful young lady and a wonderful actress. I look forward to seeing her in other roles once the Potter films are complete.

I was really upset when they moved the release date back, but after reading some reviews online from people who were lucky enough to see the recent “mystery” screening in Chicago, I’m glad that they delayed it. I hope they take this extra time to improve the film, because if it really is like the reviewers say, I think a lot of fans are going to be VERY disappointed.

I was never much of a Emma Watson fan… but I liked her interview, especially when talking about the HBP delay.

I heard Emma had a “wardrobe malfuction”. Was it after or during the award show? Or was the malfunction just a case of odd fitting dress? lol. And here I thought Emma’s fashion sense has improved.
