A few updates today regarding work done outside the Harry Potter films by the trio of Emma Watson (Hermione), Rupert Grint (Ron) and Dan Radcliffe (Harry).

First as a follow to what we first told you last month: The dinner plate that Emma Watson designed for charity is now up for auction. Bidding is going well for the dinner plate (seen here) which is part of the Blue Peter Mission Nutrition campaign to help fight world hunger. The auction runs until February 7th.

Tickets for Cherrybomb, the new film starring Rupert Grint which is premiering this month at the Berlin Film Festival went on sale this morning. If you are interested buying tickets to the premiere where Rupert is due to attend on Sunday, February 8th, or one of the later screenings of the film, click here.

Equus, the play starring actors Dan Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon) is due to come to an end this month on Broadway. As such, the famed restaraunt Sardis has added a caricature of Dan Radcliffe to the walls of their legendary building in New York, joining the hundreds of famed actors and actresses who have graced the boards of the theater over the years. You can see video footage and an interview from Broadway.com with Dan here in our galleries, as well as photos from Just jared, and Broadwayworld.com. The final performance of Dan and Richard in Equus will be on February 8th.

Avatar ImageDolemite says: I think my son made a plate like that in art class :DAvatar Imagecdewson says: im looking forward to Cherrybomb. Ruperts a really good actor. He was really good in Driving LessonsAvatar ImageFonty says: The plate designed by Ms Watson currently has the highest bids with 360£ (512$), Nich Park´s in second with 261£ (371$), and Richard Hammond at third with 127£ (180$). I can´t help but wonder whether this has to do with the design or the designer. :)Avatar Imagemiriam the wounded says: I'd rather have Nick Park's plate - he created Wallace & Gromit! It's cool that Dan has received his own caricature at Sardi's - makes him a real part of the Broadway scene. I'm sure the Rupert fans are looking forward to cherrybomb too. Is it next week that they all get back to Leavesdon to start filming? Avatar ImageGF_of_Seamus says: Even though that plate is for a charity for hunger I still think it is really random. However I applaud her for doing some good in the world and raising some money. Avatar ImageProfessorPotter says: Wow, Emma is so multi talented...well, except for plate art :) But its fantastic for her to get involved with such campaigns. Dan is hilarious as usual on the video. And good luck to Rupert with Cherrybomb. Avatar Imagehermione_1991 says: hope she raises a lot of money..Avatar Imagethereshegoes says: The dinner plate looks quite good :) I actually never heard about Cherrybomb but I loved Driving Lessons and have to see his next film. Rupert Grint is fantastic. I wish I had the chance to see Equus with Dan in the cast :( I've heard so much good about it and his acting. Congrats to him though for doing such a great job and for also receiving a caricature. Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: i like how the plate looks somewhat like flower grafitti. :] i <3 the trio. Avatar Imagedcrazmo says: Love, love, love Emma...but that plate is pretty lame. Still, it's for charity...Avatar Imagevicky granger says: I'm really looking forward to Cherrybomb, since I liked Driving Lessons. I wonder when it's coming out in France...Avatar ImageGraymayne says: Talking of lame, that drawing of Daniel is pathetic, I've seen much better ones in our Fan Art section. To talk of it as a caricature is just an insult to those artists who work in that genre.Avatar Imagekbicprez says: LOVE the trio. I’m not into casting celebrities as role models, but these three might make me change my mind! But I confess I’m not crazy about the plate Emma designed. The artwork she did for her site is WONDERFUL, but IMO, this not so much. But it is for a really good cause and I hope it gets a good price. I’m not crazy about Dan’s caricature either. Guess it’s that kind of day for me. I know it’s a caricature, but shouldn’t it have more resemblance to Dan?? Well one good thing - I am VERY HAPPY with what’s going on with Rupert these days. I think he has a very bright future ahead of him!Avatar ImageLunaGinervaBlack says: I think Emma's plate is cute, but it maybe didn't take the most time in the world. But, to be honest, when someone presents you with something like that, I imagine you sort of get stuck with what to do. Later you probably think of all the cool things you could've put on a dinner plate. If I saw the caricature I would recognize him, it's just that the Dan standing next to him seems to be a bit unkempt and his portrait is not! (But I do agree I have seen more accurate in the fanart.) And I think Rupert plays Ron so perfectly and comically, I just wish him all the best success with Cherrybomb!Avatar Imagelnh92 says: The plate is kinda plain. Its cool but not very artsy. I'd like to have it.Avatar ImageZivlok says: I was thinking something more... caricaturey. Still, great for Dan! You'd have thought that they'd do something to emphasize the fact that without the HP duds, he looks sort of like a hobbit...Avatar Imageele0206 says: Nice plate. I would really really liked to go and see Equus. Has anyone seen it? Obviously yes...what was it (the show, I mean!) like? From Italy EleAvatar ImageSabrinaDrolet14 says: When i go to NYC this summer I will have to check out the caricature :)Avatar ImageMuggleQueen says: Wow Emma's plate is pretty cool. And I wish I could go to the Cherrybomb premiere but alas I can't :(Avatar Imageclowningaround113 says: I think its really nice of Emma to do something like that :DAvatar Imagekbicprez says: @ele0206, I saw “Equus”. It was very intense and very, very good. Dan plays a seriously disturbed character. His performance was sensational. I think Dan and Richard Griffiths work really well together. I’d love to see them work together again after HP. Dan has become such a good actor. It wouldn’t surprise me if he and Griffiths get Tony nominations.Avatar ImageTheProphecy says: I <3 the trio!Avatar ImageCrown Victoria says: Love Emma, so sad that i didn get to see dan in equusAvatar Imageascendancy33 says: awesome news... I can't wait to see that movie...Avatar Imagehermionegirl7 says: Emma's such a great artist, so I'm kind of surprised at how rushed the plate looks. I imagine she's wishing she did something different now, but it's still really cute. It looks like the type of things I doodle. :) It's great that Dan's on the wall in Sardis, and I know it's supposed to be a "caricature", but it doesn't much look like him. Oh well. It's still really cool.Avatar Imagecallicott3 says: I really love the caricature of Dan. He looks so "young"..LOL. Anyway, it looks really good, and BTW LunaGinervaBlack, Caricatures generally don't look "just like" the subject. [that's why they're called "caricatures"!] Plate....not so good, but I wouldn't mind placing a bid. After all, it IS for charity!Avatar ImageLunaratu says: Still need to get myself tickets to Equus! It looks like an amazing production and I'm sure Daniel is very good in the part.Avatar Imageeliza_morwen_black says: hahaha, my 7 year old nephew would most definitely design a better plate than Emma did. :D Anyway, it's for a good cause, so that must count for something. ;)Avatar ImageAccioAmanda says: That's cool that there are multiple HP actors in Equus. Imagine Uncle Vernon and Harry on Broadway together .... xDAvatar ImageCourtney Quirke says: i'm seeing Dan on closing day in Equus! whoo!Avatar Imagekbicprez says: @Courtney Quirke, Dan has to do something special on the last night, doesn't he? Maybe, he'll sign autographs for everybody. I'm think I'm jealous now!Avatar ImageSybilT says: The entire production of Equus was fantastic. I thnk that Dan has a great future as an actor.Avatar Imagemhaeyemhaeye says: I'm not a big fan of her plate designing. But it's for a good cause, so way to go Emma. I can't wait for Cherrybomb! Rupert's so hawt in it! Avatar Imagemariapotter says: I'm going to closing show of Equus this Sunday! And uh..going Friday and Saturday too. I've loved this show and have seen in a few times. I'm going to miss it and it will be sad seeing Daniel and Richard take their final bows. We're heading to Sardi's before the close so hopefully the caricature is up. I wasn't sure what to thing about the caricature either, but after hearing Daniel talk about it..I like it. Avatar Imagesquibcloakmaker says: I think the portrait, being a caricature, is really good. Sadly I don't think Emma had a lot of time to do the plate, I don't think it is aweful I just epected more because the artwork on her site is really nice. I think it would be hard to be given something like that and come up with a design and have the time to do it. I am glad that she took part, and I hope the plate makes a ton of money for the charity.Avatar ImageSophie Treklemmer says: I am so sad that I wont be able to see Equus... I'm so happy for Daniel Radcliffe though. That caricature looks really cool XD Emma Watson is doing a great thing for charity ^_^ And I can't wait to see Cherry Bomb! It will be lovely to see Rupert Grint expand his skills beyond funny faces :P (although, to be fair, Order of the Phoenix reallys showed off the real Ron)Avatar ImageFonty says: She did the plate when she was in a BBC TV studio during the Blue Peter show in December.Avatar ImageDuckyLynn says: The plate is selling for a ridikulus amount. My friends and I always joke about Equus. I want to see the play because of Dan, but I don't really want to see......how to put this.....I don't want to see that much of DanAvatar ImageThe Hufflepuff Giraffe says: Dan's caricature looks like a cross between a Hollywood star and an elf. Haha. I'm so excited for Cherrybomb! I've got to check when it's coming to Canada. British films always take so long.. Avatar ImageMary11_hplvr4l says: Need.To.See.Cherrybomb.. :d -ily rupert <3Avatar ImageEmily Erland says: Wow! Congrats to Dan for getting a caricature in Sardis (an "honor" few Broadway actors can claim!) Though I do have to admit, the likeness isn't as close as some of the fan art I've seen... perhaps it's because the artist didn't attempt to accentuate any particular feature of Dan to make it appear more like him?Avatar Imagecalliet2b4g says: I wanna see cherrybomb!!!!Avatar ImageSTARZOE says: i cant wait for cherrybomb!!!!! he was great in driving lessons!!!!Avatar ImageJTEL99 says: Am I the only one that thinks that caricature of Dan Radcliffe looks more like Leonardo DiCaprio? LOL
