Scholastic, the US publishers of the Harry Potter novels, will be releasing a new box set of the series this summer. This new collection, which you can see here in our galleries, is available for pre-order via Barnes and Noble, as well as Walmart. Included in the collection are the set of US paperback editions of books one through seven, with the box to feature the Deluxe cover from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

As a reminder, the paperback edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling will be released July 7, and is available for pre-order via our Cauldron shop.

Avatar ImageGryffindorGal87 says: That box looks wonderful! I can't wait to get mine! :)Avatar ImageNeil in Scotland says: Wow!! That look gorgeous! I don't have any of the US paperbacks, so I might just have to inverset in that box set!Avatar ImageEmilyDeibert says: It's so pretty! I think I may order it - depending on the price.Avatar ImageSylvieTheHufflepuff says: Eee! This is so cool! I'd order it if the Canadian dollar wasn't so low... and would probably end up costing me closer to $80... I'd rather keep my Beedle <3Avatar Imagewizardinventor says: Are the actual covers of the books different? The spines look special from what the picture shows. I'd have to see more photos before making up my mind on this one.Avatar ImageMcGiggles92 says: I probably won't buy or order it, since I already have two of each paperback, except DH, of course. Avatar ImageMcGiggles92 says: Oh, and the covers are the same except the spine and back. The spines and backs are a solid color, I know because I saw these newer versions of the paperbacks at my local Borders. Avatar ImageBeowulf says: I will have to pass. Two months ago I ordered the UK paperback children's box set from Amazon UK. Cost US$73 and arrived 10 days later. Been VERY happy with it. Sorry, Scholastic, you are just too late...Avatar ImageAccioCloak says: Looks good - nice gift for anyone who doesn't have the US editions.Avatar ImageAgrippa1 says: I've already got the deluxe DH with the dragon cover, and I'm not sure the boxed paperback set will have anything more than I've already got on my shelf. Unfortunately, I don't need to buy it...but I know I certainly want to.Avatar Imagehalcyon says: I really wish Scholastic had gone the way of Bloomsbury and given us adult-looking covers too. I'm just not a fan of the childish-looking covers. Avatar ImageMelissaRochelle says: Ooh I really want this! I have to have the hard cover so the printing is larger. I will however buy the first 3 books in hardback. I started reading the Harry Potter Books in paperback but by the 4th book, got it and all the rest in Hardback. If I had know how I would love them, I would have invested in the hardbacks at that time. Who Knew????LolAvatar ImageAbiDumbledore says: I need to go to America and buy them!! I want them so bad! :( I wish they would import them to my local bookshop.Avatar ImageAbiDumbledore says: I need to go to America and buy them!! Looks really nice. If I wanted a box set, this would definitely be it - since it actually has all the books in it, for one thing. It would kind of be nice to have paperbacks, but I like my hardbacks and don't exactly need new copies.Avatar Imageravenclawguy1972 says: must have it!!!!! i have been waiting for DH to come out in paper back to complete my set and as mine are getting more than a bit ragged and none are first paper back printing ill just get the set and have shiny new copies Avatar ImagePotterswan says: Oh so pretty.Avatar ImageGinnyClone30250 says: That is SO freaking cool.Avatar Imageharrypotterbookpurist says: Wow! This looks so awesome I love it so much. I would love to buy the full paperback boxset of Harry Potter to have copies everywhere I go. I love that they have the scene where the trio is flying on the dragon from the Deathly Hallows.Avatar Imagegaminette says: My gosh - how many sets are there going to be? I'm happy with my UK set of paperbacks and don't have room in my shoebox for too much else. Sorry Scholastic! O_oAvatar ImagePadfootLover4ever says: Oh those look really nice! I want to get them! I dont have any of the books in paperback. That would be cool to have them hard and soft. I do have Quidditch through the ages and fanatstic beasts and where to find them in paperback. And now they came out with hardcover! I those too!Avatar ImagePadfootLover4ever says: Hmm...the more I think about it the more I realize I need a new set of HP books. I am definitly gonna buy this set!Avatar Imageeliza_morwen_black says: Ooh... it's pretty. But I wouldn't buy it for myself... Yet another HP thing I desperately want. ;)Avatar Imageharrypotterbookpurist says: Yes everytime something new of Harry Potter comes out I always want to buy it. I would love to have this whole set to have as my travel copies and some of my paperback editions are falling apart anyways. I own both the hardcover and paperback versions along with the UK versions.Avatar ImageDolemite says: Already have all the books I needAvatar ImageBradyboy says: Honestly, this is another way for Scholastic to make money. I won't be buying new paperback copies of the books just because they have new covers. Avatar ImageChrissyPuff says: very cool! definitely will make a great gift.
