The cast and crew of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be sporting white ribbons tomorrow in honor and remembrance of Robert Knox. As readers will recall, the young actor had just completed filming his role as Marcus Belby when he was tragically stabbed and murdered in London. Actress Bonnie Wright (Ginny) is quoted as saying the ribbons were meant to show solidarity with Robert and all victims of the knife crimes.
“It’s going to be quite a traumatic experience for his family,
who’ve been very supportive of him. Obviously tomorrow is going to be
quite difficult, going to see him in the film,” she said.”We
wanted to wear as a mark of respect a white ribbon, not only for his
life but for other families who have experienced this traumatic crime.”
