As part of the launch for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Warner Brothers Consumer Products is being featured in Licensing Biz, where WB will be providing them with new insights and plans for the next four years. According to the website, as part of “global scale events” due over the next four years, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is set to open in Spring, 2010. This matches many earlier reports we’ve seen here on TLC. Over the past few weeks too weve heard more about the theme park, most recently about a ride being built inside the giant castle of Hogwarts and from Emma Watson who said last week that she filmed a video to be shown to guests as part of an interactive ride. A recap on all of the latest can be found in the Telegraph today, with recent construction photos of the park being built in Orlando, Florida seen here courtesy of fan Brian Dorf.

Also WB told Licensing Biz that the DVD for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due “Q4 2009” putting it in the holiday/December release time frame we reported on previously. We will update with any new information that might be released on this over the next few days.
