“HOW TO WIN
16. "
I didn’t read down to this part nor have I ever read a stipulation like this in a contest. Should be the luck of the draw, not a multiple part challenge…..
Wait a minute… Do all of the 7 handwritten editions of The Tales of Beedle the Bard" have moonstones on the cover??? I don’t think so.
Quotage from J.K. Rowling herself:

“Each of the seven copies of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” has a different dedication; all are leather-bound and embellished with silver and different semi-precious stones. The seventh book (the Moonstone edition) will be auctioned at Sotheby’s in London on December 13th 2007."
So only 1 has moonstones on it, the one that was up for auction which Amazon.com bagged. I also recall that the copy Rowling gave to her U.S. publisher Arthur A. Levine (#5 of the 7) was ornamented with tourmalines.
I’m so happy i already have my own beautiful copy! Good luck to all you leaky-ers!! I hope a real fan wins it and not just someone who is going to sell it!! :)
