Blu-ray titles in another move to win holiday sales,” including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince available here.

Amazon.com is offering a great discount today for the Blu-ray special two disc set (including the download) for Half-Blood Prince which will contain the special sneak peek at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. At more than half-off ($16.99), you can pre-order here, with the UK option here. Fans will recall of course the news that if you purchase the Blu-ray you can take part in the special live screening December 12 with Dan Radcliffe and David Yates via

Avatar ImageNoble Birth Descending says: I wish that WB would bundle a regular DVD with the Blu-Ray like Disney does. Blu-Ray just isn't an option in a van where the kids do most of their watching but I'd prefer the benefits of Blu-Ray for me.Avatar ImageNoble Birth Descending says: I wish that WB would bundle a regular DVD with the Blu-Ray like Disney does. Anyway wanted to post a heads up.Avatar Imageprofessor says: You have to pay shipping but it is only 70 cents. We already have ours ordered!!!!Avatar ImagevampressISap0tter says: I want to buy this..:) Avatar Imagebettb says: Please think twice before you consider buying these DVDs from WalMart; they require censorship of media before they will sell it, and the company's corporate policies of land use, hiring and benefits are among the lowest standards in the nation. That said, I can't wait to own my own copy of HBP, so I can watch it over and over again :-). Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: Not a surprise that Wal-Mart is selling them so cheep. Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: I cannot wait to get these!Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: I cannot wait for this!!!Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: I am getting this soon!!!Avatar ImageKC Nox says: i hate not having a blu ray player :(Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: I want a Blu-Ray player soooooo bad!! It's on my Christmas list alreadyand I'm starting to save up for it as well. I'll buy the regular HBP DVD since my family wants a copy anyways.. then once I have my Blu-Ray player, I'll get them all in Blu-Ray! Does anyone know if it has the features/extras of the regular dvd special edition or do they differ? Avatar ImageCatherine says: awesome! sales and shopping are two of my favourite things to see in the same sentence! this is great!Avatar Imagemuggle118 says: im gonna order itAvatar Imagemadman1277 says: I cannot wait for this!!! so excited been waiting since i saw the movie 5 times Avatar Imagesimos says: Nice!Avatar Imagepfowlerp says: If anyone wants to know the specific differences between the special features of the different Half Blood Prince DVD formats just check out this group I made. http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/myleaky/groups/7846Avatar ImageBwaySaint says: Yep, Californians beware, "State Restrictions" prevent us from ordering this (and Star Trek '09, if anyone cares) for $10 on Walmart. However, Star Trek is $10 on Amazon and while the special edition is still $21 on Amazon, I'm quite positive it will drop soon as well (and all pre-orders have a price guarantee on Amazon.) Avatar Imagewing says: hahahahaAvatar Imagewing says: hahahahaAvatar Imagewing says: hahahahaAvatar ImageCaracticus says: Well said bettb: I know that Wal-Mart's prices are very good, and many people can't afford to spend more on these types of things, but I think people also can't afford to sell their principles and self respect by shopping at Wal-Mart. "Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy." (or less expensive). I don't think Dumbledore would shop at Wal-Mart.Avatar ImageNoble Birth Descending says: Wow! I hit submit one time and managed to post the same response six times! I wonder if Hufflepuff will get points for all of the submissions. ;) Thanks gcw07 for the info. It wasn't that clear on the Amazon description if it was Blu-Ray DVD or Blu-Ray and DVD. Only the sticker on the picture made me suspicious.Avatar ImagemOOn-stArs-sUn says: I am most certainly getting this!!!Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: I am getting this soon!!!Avatar ImageGryfindoorGirl115 says: Yay of course i would buy it no matter the cost though :)Avatar ImageRavenclawDave says: Pre ordering from walmart tomorrow! Happy Birthday to Me lolAvatar Imagedeadtree says: must... get... blu-ray... player....Avatar Imageharrygetsme says: oh really?Avatar ImageFigment says: I'll be getting my as soon and as cheap as I can.Avatar Imagepfowlerp says: I am getting this movie, just don't know where I'm pre-ordering from yet. Need to check if walmart is 2 disc special edition dvd. I too don't own a Blu-Ray player but have found best buy to have a decent one for $99. It's their "House Brand" called Insignia. Just doesn't fall in my budget at the moment, besides I'm expecting one for Christmas!! I think I might pre-order from Blu-Ray package from Amazon but will need to find someone with a Blu-Ray player to participate in Dan's Live screening event.Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: It is a serious wait...Avatar Imagewing says: hahahahaAvatar Imagewing says: hahahahaAvatar Imagealicia00 says: omg that is soo cheep i am soo getting the dvd on onlineAvatar ImageGiant Squid says: can't wait for the DVD!Avatar ImageRavenclawDave says: just preordered the two disc special edition!Avatar ImageMidnightSun321 says: Good :)Avatar ImageLexitheAuror says: So all editions are on sale, but only the single disc widescreen version has the special $10 pre-order sale, and it does not include any extras on it as far as I can tell it only has the movie on it.Avatar ImageLexitheAuror says: I posted those last two posts a few minutes after each other, but it says I posted them on different days and different times. It is currently 9:28 central time so I don't know why they say it was 10 and 2 pm and I posted the one with the prices first. That is weird.Avatar ImageLexitheAuror says: I just went to walmart.com and only the HBP widescreen single disc DVD is priced as $10. The single disc dvd full-frame is $14.86. The blu-ray is $15.86, and the 2 disc special edition is $19.86.
