The first posters posters for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
have now been officially released. The first one (courtesy Yahoo) shows a closeup of Harry, with Dumbledore reflected in his glasses. A second one from MSN, seen here in our galleries, shows more of Harry, pointing his wand (and sporting a most curious shirt). The third new poster, here in our galleries as well, features Professor Dumbledore turning to look at something, and is without his hat.

hmm I like the ones with the tilt. it makes the image more dynamic and you can tell that the story in this movie is getting closer and closer to the big climax! As for the thing on his shirt… could it be a house crest like that shirt Hermione was wearing in that production image?

My favourite is the close up of Harry with Dumbledore reflected in his glasses! THey are all sooooooo cool though!!

I have to admit that Warner Brothers does employ excellent people in the graphic design parts of their advertising and marketing departments! These are exceptionally designed posters, filled with suspense and engaging for the viewer.

i like the poster, the diagonal writing is cool, but i have to agree: what IS on harry’s shirt?

Yay I can’t believe we’ve finally got some posters!! I’m loving the colour scheme, but I think it looks really weird having DD reflected in Harry’s glasses… it’s a pretty cool idea though.
Anyway they’re still awesome!

On the first poster, that’s got to be the most bizarre number 6 ever. The third poster is a bit funny, can’t explain why…

well, upon closer inspection, it does kind of look like a pocket on the right side of his shirt. and buttons down the middle, I think it’s just the light reflection off of it strangely.

That Dumbledore poster just rocks socks all over the place! OMG! I love it!!! The other ones…not so much. What is on his shirt? It looks really odd.
