Shell Cottage Scene for Deathly Hallows to be Filmed in Wales?

Here is a bit of news that is perhaps very cool and a bit sad for fans as well, as there are reports of a possible location for filming of the emotional scenes at Shell cottage in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The Western Telegraph is reporting today that crews from WB have apparently been in the South Pembrokeshire coastal areas in Wales, scouting for a location that will be used for filming DH this summer. Quotage as follows:
"It is understood location staff from film company Warner Brothers have visited
Pembrokeshire and booked hotel and self-catering accommodation in the
area ahead of their arrival to film during early summer.
The seaside scenes in the book relate to the fictional village of
Tinworth in Cornwall, the location of Shell Cottage where young wizards
Harry, Ron and Hermione take shelter.
A spokesman for the Harry Potter production team said no specific locations for the film could be confirmed."
As noted in the article, WB has not confirmed this possible location for Deathly Hallows filming. We will continue to follow the story, updates when we get them!
I don’t think they are going to cut the big scenes but i think it is possible that they could cut a scene that isn’t necessary to the plot, the plot being finding the horcruxes and finding the deathly hallows.
This is still a film even with two films they won’t be able to fit in every scene and every word.
Oh, please let them keep Dobby! This is good news. It sounds like maybe they are actually putting in special effort not to change too much of DH, unlike some of the other movies. That would be great.
how are they going to introduce Bill?
by saying oh hey Harry, this is my brother Bill that you’ve known for 3 years already…we’re gonna stay @ his house for a awhile…even though we missed his wedding…..
I’m just happy that they are including Shell Cottage in the movies. I really hope the Bill casting rumors turn out to be true, then these will most likely turn out to be better movies than I thought they would be!
Yay, this means they should be keeping the Dobby grave scene! (I heard that some people were doubting it’s inclusion to the film)
I’m glad they seem to be putting a lot of thought into what location to use, it shows that they understand the strong emotional ties us fans have with this specific site.
