Rumblings on Possible Casting for Bill Weasley for Deathly Hallows and More

We have some interesting rumblings today regarding possible castings for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Rumors have reached our ears that Domhnall Gleeson, the son of actor Brendan Gleeson (Mad-Eye Moody) will be portraying Bill Weasley in the final Harry Potter films. You can see a photo of Domhnall here. Domhnall Gleeson is an upcoming actor, known in the theater world having received a Tony nomination in 2006 for his work in The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Also word is that the role of Mundungus Fletcher has also been cast, but there is no actor's name available as of yet.
Please note: As fans will recall, we had heard from actress Clemence Poesy last year that her character of Fleur was not to be in Half-Blood Prince, but remained uncertain if she was to be back for Deathly Hallows. We do not know if the rumor of a possible casting of Bill Weasely indicates the wedding scene may be in or simply just Shell cottage, or what all of this may mean, thus, we do caution to please treat this very much as a rumor for now. As always, we are working to find out more on this, and will update with more when we can, stay tuned!

It would be just wonderful if he were cast! He looks like he would suit the role. I do hope that they include the wedding and Shell Cottage in the seventh and eighth films!

Oh I’m so hoping that there will be a Bill/Fleur wedding in DH… but I don’t think it will happen :/ Anyway he looks like Bill, only I hope he doesn’t use an Irish accent when filming because it would be a little weird for just one of the Weasleys to have an Irish accent o.O

I really want the wedding, but I could see how they could have the Death Eaters storm the Burrow at Harry’s birthday. They might not even attack the burrow in DH because they do in HBP now, and you know how they hate to be “repetitive.”

It would be nice… but.. What’s the point of bringing Bill to DH-movies, if there is no mention of Bill in the whole movie-saga..?

i hope the rumor is true! he looks like a bill weasley to me. i know deathly hallows will be a great movie anyway, but having bill and fleur in it when we were expecting them to get cut would be really awesome!

He looks good, just like Bill! This is exciting, I hope this means that we’ll be getting the wedding… but that’ll be really random since we haven’t even seen Bill until now. At least now we know that there should be a Shell Cottage—they simply can’t cut that out of the movie—it’s too important.

If the WB is casting Bill, that’s some pretty fantastic news because it means they likely won’t cut the wedding (the events surrounding it, at least) or Shell Cottage.
He looks TOTALLY perfect for the role.
Hope it’s true.
And if it is just the Cottege scenes then that would be fine with me.
I don’t need to SEE Bill and Four GET married to know they do,
it is a waste of valuable scene time for a more important scene.
Hope the Mundungus Flecher role cast is true as well.
