As promised there was a preview of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince during NBC’s broadcast of “Merlin.” Unfortunately, it was the previously released Pensieve scene where Dumbledore travels to the Orphanage to meet young Tom Riddle. In case you missed it earlier this month, the direct download links for the scene, including in High Definition, can be found here.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on July 15.

Avatar Imagefelixfelicis11 says: Already seen it! Grrr!Avatar Imagefelixfelicis11 says: Yes, I'm actually enjoying Merlin so far, so that makes up for the lame clip.Avatar Imageericaeeks says: Yep.. love it when they hype it up as exclusive.. get our hopes up and just slash it when it's the same clip. It's actually quite annoying and a poor use of tactics to get people to watch a new show. Avatar Imageericaeeks says: I agree, atleast Merlin is a decent show. So it's not a complete waste of time. Avatar ImageBellatrix1Fan says: Whoever decided to show this preview should be shot!!!! Why not show a clip of the Attack on the Burrow??? That at least will give viewers who saw this same clip on the MTV Movie Awards more motivation to go out and see the movie!!!! God, I hate people!!!!Avatar ImageCandyCane2304 says: I'm glad I'm liking Merlin so far, that's the only good thing about it right now. Oh well three more weeks and we can see the whole thing.Avatar Imagehermyone08 says: glad it wasn't new as i didn't watch MerlinAvatar ImageLeo_Lovegood says: What Christine said =) I don't want to be too spoiled even though I don't mind when we get new footage. =)Avatar ImageClariceCuri says: :D I've seen it already, Tom looks really cute.Avatar Imagelupinwandcaster says: How many people are going to see the movie? I haven't seen a HP movie in theaters since Prisoner of Azkaban. Avatar Imagelupinwandcaster says: Wow, lots of people in different countries!Avatar Imageliv-wa says: Ugg...I was so excited for the new clip and then we've already seen it... Oh well. Movie in less than a month!Avatar ImageLily_Phoenix says: Whoever was put in charge of promoting the movie is doing a horrific job. WB I AM DISAPPOINT.Avatar ImageSybilT says: I thought the show (Merlin) was a bit stupid, but I'll probably keep watching it. I enjoyed seeing the HBP commerical even though I'd seen it before. That kid is really creepy!Avatar Imagesunlitdays says: i am so proud of myself, but i didnt watch this when it first came out, and im not watching it now. tralier are one thing, where we see a second of one clip and then jump to another, but this is too much like seeing the legit movie ya know? ah well not too much longerAvatar ImageYodatheHobbit says: "Yep.. love it when they hype it up as exclusive.. get our hopes up and just slash it when it’s the same clip. It’s actually quite annoying and a poor use of tactics to get people to watch a new show." Obviously they mean a US television exclusive. Anything they advertise on TV as an exclusive that has not aired yet counts as an exclusive and the last 3rd of the clip made it's television debut tonight.Avatar Imagerna51 says: Very coolAvatar ImageMartinisthechosenone says: Waste of time!:(Avatar Imagehpluver88 says: How disappointing :( At least Merlin is good...Avatar ImageKatetheKeeper says: I can't believed I missed it! I really wanted to watch that . . . Grrr. =[Avatar ImageDanielBonnie28 says: i've already seen it too!! Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: i saw it! :] but i've already seen it. but...i saw it! lolAvatar ImageHPNAIV says: Well, it's okay. We have like four million trailers & tv spots. =]Avatar Imagemollywobble says: Anyone know if that was the MTV version on the one we saw on the Canadian website site? I know there isn't much difference, but just wondering.Avatar ImageLadySara says: Liked the clip as I hadn't been able to download it properly. Merlin is a bust. The only reason I watched the show was to see the clip. "Excaliber" is a much better visioning of the Camelot story. Hope no one relies on this series in English class. LOL. Avatar Imagedjr-fan says: So it was a clip we've seen...that's okay. It was probably used as a hook to get more people to watch Merlin. I loved the two episodes that were shown; looking forward to next Sunday's episode. Hopefully it will make it here. I believe it's already in season 2 in the UK. Avatar ImageLucia Meadows says: It was the Canadian version, so it was a bit longer. I still think that the scene should be longer than that, but we'll see soon.Avatar Imagesnapsforsnape says: how in the world was the clip considered exclusive?? Mtv already used it. Oh well. It did its job- made me watch Merlin and now I love itAvatar ImageAitch Davis says: To short, eh oh well. I still liked what i saw.Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Nothing new!...Avatar ImageBriannaWazHere says: I watched Merlin and I am okay with the HBP preview being already seen by me. I liked Merlin alot, I watch two hours of it and loved the show. I'm glad I watched it the show is AWESOMEAvatar ImageTasyaWeasley says: i cant wait harry potter and half-blood prince movie !Avatar ImageFloridianFlounder95 says: I liked Merlin! It was an okay show for NBC standards (Knight Rider, anyone?) I loved watching the clip, not on my computer screen and I put it really loud. I really can't wait till the 15 the of July, only 24 days left now!)Avatar ImageRose-Mclane says: Merlin was kinda lame ( but not that bad )...but I suppose I cant expect out of this world graphics for Network TV. I don't care about clips anymore. I saw this one before and the move is less then a month away. Give me more cast interviews.Avatar ImageCandyCane2304 says: I'm with you Rose. I'm ready to see interviews now and behind the scenes specials like HBO, A&E, and Biography, etc........Avatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: It is a pity that Warner Brothers has limited itself to providing us with this particular clip over and over again and has not indulged us with something different. This footage is growing old.Avatar ImageHeavenly_Horcrux says: I'm disappointed that it was an old clip, but I'm happy I got the opportunity to be introduced to Merlin!Avatar ImageDolemite says: This movie should have already been out :DAvatar ImageScathach says: I didn't see it, so I was pretty happy with it. I can't wait for it to come out. Does anyone know if they are going to do a Midnight showing?Avatar ImagetheREALGinnyWeasley says: i was eating dinner in a resturant when i saw it.....it was on one of the TV's and i screamed really loud HOLY CRAP HARRY POTTER!!!! EVERYONE QUIET!!!!! people stared.....Avatar Imageakcorr says: I was able to record this in high def.
