We have several updates today for Australian readers. First, Australian Broadcast Company will be airing the film Ballet Shoes, starring Emma Watson (Hermione) this Sunday, June 7 at 8:30pm. Second, Australian Women's Weekly magazine has now launched a contest to win a pair of tickets to an early screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince July 13th. Open to Australian residents ages 18 and old who purchase a copy of the magazine in June can enter for a chance to win tickets to the film, with a total of 1,000 tickets to be given away as part of the contest. For more on how to enter, click here (PDF).

Thanks much Gemma, Joel and Ellie!

Oh, that’s good that means it will come out on dvd here too :) Will definately watch it tomorrow. And that contest sounds cool but I’ve still got my gold class tickets, a Christmas present from my mum, so I’d rather use those XD

I read “Ballet Shoes” when I was a kid. It’s a really sweet story. I saw the movie when it came out too. I thought Emma did a very nice job!.
