Location filming recently took place in Scotland involving the Hogwarts Express train for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A freelance photographer has now posted photos on his public flickr, here or here in our image galleries of the filming where a camera was attached to a helicopter to get the overhead shots; others show the fabled train at Rannoch Station near Loch Rannoch, Scotland. Please note: no cast members were present at this filming.

awesome!
I really want to see the actors playing Teddy, Rose, Hugo, Scorpious, Lily, Albus and James. I’m so excited for this movie!!

This has to be the ending that they where shooting, because there is no scene in the rest of the book that takes place with the Hogwarts Express. But, that means that they are doing the 19 years later scene, but I can only hope that they do it better then the book. That is the only thing I was disappointed about, that the epilogue did not answer most of my questions about where they went. We only got glimpses of it. We spent the better part of 10 years living, loving and loosing with these characters and all we get at the end is 10 pages about their kids going off to school.

Maybe they will show how the kids of those resisting from Voldemort are being kidnapped… like Luna being taken away from the train during her trip for Christmas vacation… and yeah, the “19 years later”.. when Al and Rose are on their first trip to Hogwarts.. awesome..

Awesome, they can’t be filming the epilogue already?! I’ve ridden the Hogwarts express from Fort William to Mullaig, i think it was, in Scotland. You go over the viaduct so famously seen in the films and can see where they put hogwarts on the side of the hill, I think they are both at Glen Fidden (sp), by the monument. I went through the entire train sitting on every seat haha.
