Location filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows continues as the Liverpool Echo is reporting today that second unit crews are on location at the Queensway Tunnel in Liverpool working more on the Seven Potters scene from the movie. UPDATE: Video of the tunnel, motorcylce, crew and prep work here on YouTube or here in our galleries. According to the article, none of the main stars will be present as this involves the Bickers Action stunt team who have worked on several of the previous Harry Potter films, as well as doubles for the actors. The paper also says:
scene is thought to involve Hagrid, who has so far been played by
Robbie Coltrane, racing through the tunnel on Sirius Black’s trademark
motorbike with Harry Potter in a sidecar fighting off enemies with his
wand. A publicist for the film said: “We have got a unit shooting for
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows “There are no principal cast members there. “It is all going very well and everybody has been very accommodating locally.”
Readers will recall we saw photos of second unit filming for the Seven Potters scene at the end of July involving doubles for Hagrid and Harry on the magical flying motorbike belonging to Sirius Black.
Hagrid and Harry go through a tunnel on the motorbike during the sequence when they end up on the ground during the 7 Potters chase scene. I’m assuming it’s for that.
SO EXCITING!! I can’t wait to see this movie!! ONLY 437 DAYS LEFT!!!
TO EVERYONE THATS CARRYING ON AND MOANING THAT THERE SEEING THINGS BEING FILMED ON THE GROUND REMEMBER THIS, when we first saw pictures of the motorbike chase everyone had the same questions or for those of you who didnt read the comments, they are more than likely doing a chase through the tunnel where they will take off again at the other end and fly down into it to hide from the pursuing death eaters. altho this action sequence wasnt in the book i really think jo rowling will have given it her approval as it adds a bit more action to that scene. dont forget they cant film the flying scenes out on location this as you all will remember will be done at leavsdon studio as is all the flying around on broomsticks etc with a green screen. so dont panic people dont forget the first trailer for deathly hallows will possibly not be out until late spring or early summer as they dont wrap fiming both parts until next april. hope thats chilled everyone out whose bothered to read my comment.
Seems neat… I kinda see the whole scene as they will be in air but then something happens where they are beeing chased on the ground and then try to lift back up again or something? I’m not worried that they won’t make the scene at least half of it in the air, but they probably want to make it more dramatic with them being chased against the traffice or something like that. :)
