Even though principal production on the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” films wrapped nearly two weeks ago, actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) is today completing his very last day of production on the Potter film franchise. The actor posted the following update on his Twitter account:

Last official EVER day as draco malfoy! what a unique 10 years its been! will be sad to take my suit off for the last time!

Second unit production on “Deathly Hallows” continues, with only a few more days of production left. The “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” will be released November 19, 2010, while “Deathly Hallows: Part II” will arrive in theaters July 15, 2011.

Avatar ImageMoose_Starr says: Wow ... it is just so weird and, so sad to read that word *ever*. It's really great though, that so many of the HP actors really seem to consider it a privilege being involved in HP. It means as much to them as HP does to us. It really must be so weird for them, especially the younger actors because, HP has been their life for so long, it's like who they are and, now they have to rediscover who they really are *sigh*Avatar ImageLittle Light says: It will never end for any of us. Avatar ImageBlack_wind says: Wah...:(Avatar ImageNatalie says: At least they (and we) have a whole year to say that it's truly over!Avatar Imagemagicmaniac says: i agree with natalia! so sadAvatar ImagePadfootPet says: if i'm sad about it, i can't believe how he must feel, most of his life's work ends today! *cries*Avatar ImageHPNAIV says: ;'(Avatar ImageLeakyMugLuva749 says:'s almost over!!! Love you Tom!Avatar ImageOddRavenclaw222 says: Sucks that his last day of being Malfoy most likely involves him wearing that strange beard for the Epilogue scene.Avatar Imagenarglesohmy says: Ahh it needs to not be over!!! :(Avatar ImageAbbyWeasley says: NO NO NO NO NO!!!! WHY??????? It needs to keep going! Jo.. PLEESE write another book!Avatar Imagekbabyy says: sigh... :(Avatar ImageSlytherin Boy 2010 says: I agree with Little Light HISS it will never truly end for any of us. We can look forward to when they do remakes of the movies in 20 years.Avatar Imagedevilskinn says: love them all so much! I adore everything that has to do with HP >:D<Avatar Imagehewy says: We will always have the books to reread and the DVD's to watch over and over and over again! Tom is such a sweetheart and like the others seems grateful for the opportunity that HP has afforded all of them!!! Here's wishing him and all the rest the very best that life has to offer!!!!!!!Avatar ImageGryffindor Cutie says: Oh how sad. The very last day of Tom filming as Draco. I don't want it to end. It's going to be so strange when the credits close out the second DH movie. No more books. No more movies. What's next for us Harry Potter fans? I know I intend to keep the magical world alive, as much as I can. Now I'm sad.Avatar ImageI love my Spectra Specs says: It's crazy that it's all over, but Harry Potter will never end for me, I'll always be re-reading the books and watching the movies :) We'll keep it alive guys.Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: after 10 years of wanting it to be malfoys last day in life now it is and im sadAvatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: Wow can't believe it's all ending. :(Avatar ImageKaitousblackwings says: It's so weird to think that the movies are going to be over too, now...Avatar ImageIloveDobby says: :(Avatar ImageShinyPineapple says: it may be the end for them....but we know it's not truly the end untill no one remember or loves Harry Potter anymore...which will NEVER happen.Avatar Imagebutterbeer bottle says: Ah, this is sad. But it doesn't mean Harry Potter is over. Sure, the movies are coming to a close, but I'm sure the HP fandom will still continue for a long time after this. So even we don't have new books and movies coming, we've still got fandom- every single crazy HP fan still has got each other.Avatar Imageoldenoughtoknowbetter says: I can't imagine being one of the cast members, know this was the final film. I am sure they are all relieved to be able to move on, and yet sad that it is over. They spent a long time together. I wish each and everyone all the best in future projects. They will remain, however, always in my heart and always Hogwarts students. Love 'em all.Avatar Imageaval says: love you tom, your a perfect draco :)Avatar ImageDelilah3136 says: I can't breathe...I hate that it's really over! :'(Avatar ImageForTheGreaterGood says: It's so sad. We all used to enjoy criticizing the tiny aspects of the films that were not perfectly in alignment with what the books said. But now, it's so sad that they are almost over, that I don't actually mind so much of that stuff anymore. Harry Potter is a whole part of my what am I supposed to do with that part, once it's gone? It will never really be gone though. Potter fans will still remain though. Yay! We're like a whole culture, aren't we?Avatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: It's horribly horrible that after ten years being as a family, they're all breaking up! I need a moment........... *Sigh*Avatar Imageshaaylyn says: ahh it's ending :(Avatar ImagePhoenixHollyWandCore says: @ForTheGreaterGood...Yes, definitely. I am still going to show my Harry Potter pride once the movies (not including the books, that's infinity!) are well over. Harry Potter's light will only go out when the world meets it's end. I know where my loyalties lie for Harry and Jo' Rowling! (:Avatar Imagejacket says: Oh! it's so sad! his last day! He'll always be Draco Malfoy though...No matter how many other films he's in...Avatar Imagepotterfan4lyfe says: NOOOOOOOOOOO :',(Avatar ImageTheRebekinator says: wow that must be so sad..Avatar ImageAvanelleWood says: On the one hand, I'm sad to hear this, but I think we'll be seeing more of Mr. Felton in years to come. Good luck, Tom!Avatar Imagechanngalambeatrice says: Gonna miss his days as Malfoy. :(Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: What a sad day it must be indeed for Tom. Ten years and now its more Draco. I think I might cry :'(Avatar Imagegirlatty1 says: Sad or all for of us Tom.Avatar ImageSmitch says: Sad...exciting...weird. Sort of like graduating high school, but magical and with a huge paycheck. Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: Great job Tom! You were a fantastic Draco! Harry Potter will only end when we all forget about it and become obsessed with something else. Somehow, I don't think that's going to happen. As long as we love HP, it lives on. We've got books, movies and a theme park to keep us going! :) Harry Potter lives on! ;)Avatar ImageTheWaiter says: I agree with @forthegreatergood and @little light. Even if the movies and the books are over it doesn't mean that Harry Potter is over, he still lives on in every one of us. Every time I read the books I can't stop knowing that I'm one book closer to the end. And I can's stop get a little bit "depressed" after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last chapter when it has gone 19 years and they are so happy. I have a promise to myself, that to keep the Harry Potter spirit linger, I'm going to read the books to my children and so on. . I'm going to watch the movies over and over again, I've seen them many times, but I still don't get tired of them. The actors are maybe leaving the set forever, but their love and our love to Harry Potter will live forever!Avatar ImageScarStruck says: Ahhhhh that is so sad!!!! Waaaah ='(Avatar Imagenwrosey says: Sad...Avatar Imagerohit_albus severus says: This was to happen some day:-( but tom was really good as malfoy....will really miss him:-<Avatar ImageParkinsonpansy says: Awwe well he was a good malfoy poor fellowAvatar ImageFresca says: I am so looking forward to the Detahly Hallows Movies, But it is pretty sad that ther will be no more films after that, and no more Books unless Jo finally writes the Scottish Book. It’s been a long old shoot but it’s been bloody marvellous. X”Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: I love Tom - I love that he knows what it means to us ... It obviously means so much to him, too.
