Thanks to UniversHarryPotter we now have a new promotional image for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” It’s a picture of Harry with his wand alight in what appears to be Grimmauld Place. You can view the image in our galleries.

Update: In addition to the picture mentioned above, there are two more new promotional images for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” One of them features Harry looking at what appears to be the Snitch, and the other is of a concerned looking, injured Hermione. You can see the one of Harry here and the one of Hermione here. Thanks to Oclumencia for these!

Avatar Imagehermione06 says: Yay for the French releasing new picture promo's!Avatar ImageFuran says: Pretty! :BAvatar Imagehermy007 says: it's funny because "voldemort" is supposed to mean "fear of death" in french. you can kind of see that in this poster. very cool!Avatar ImageSquib2917 says: only increases my excitement!!!Avatar ImageSarahArslane says: hermy007, voldemort doesn't mean fear of death at all... it doesn't mean anything but the psychopath XD and i do speak french so yeah. Where did you see that ? nice picture ! Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: pretty awesome. :DAvatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: Squee! :D It's getting closer!Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: schweetAvatar ImageBandersnatch says: @SarahArslane and @hermy007: Not "fear of death," but people have noted that "vol de mort" might mean something like "flight of death" or "flight from death," the latter probably being where hermy007 got the idea of "fear of death" from. (Voldemort fears death, therefore he flies (flees) from it.) "Flight of death" could be a reference to the Killing Curse (flying towards its victim). Some have also wondered if "vol" might mean "thief" or "theft," which might have something to do with Horcruxes. I don't think any of this has ever been confirmed by Rowling, it's just speculation by us fans. (Although I recall that Rowling did once say that the final "t" in Voldemort should be silent, as if it were a French word.)
