Everybody’s jumping on the bandwagon to help Haiti recover, so it’s great to see such a generous donation from people around the world. Hopefully the money raised will be used in constructive ways to help the island country recover and rebuild their lives again.

It is just fantastic that J.K. Rowling donated this prize and I hope that this event is able to accrue great quantities of funds to help the cause in Haiti. That so many people from so many fandoms could unite for this goal truly attests to the goodness of humans.

This really is an amazing cause! There are so many people that are lost but this just raises the hopes for the people who haven’t been found yet exponentially.

Also, the fact that it is not solely being contributed to by one particular fandom is astounding! Once again, we are all expressing how we have the power to come together and affect change and are MAKING. THINGS. HAPPEN. :)

It is just another reason to be proud to call ourselves fans of a major series that does things like this.

Let’s all keep up the amazing work! I know that I myself will be contributing, even in the smallest way, with buying a few songs from the Jingle Spells albums. I heard that the proceeds from this are going to Haiti, and I had to go ahead and buy my copy.
