Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: cool.. i still wish it was john williams doing both parts of DH but oh well :)Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: wow i was 1st... its been a while since ive been 1st :DAvatar ImageGiant Squid says: Hope he is good!!!Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: I'm still curious to see what his score will be for the film... hope it's good!Avatar Imagesirius17 says: completely irrelevant but he looks like the butler in mr deedsAvatar ImageSigmaKnight says: I have a feeling he'll be a little under-inspired for the first film.Avatar ImagePollytomat says: Great news! HP has his secret agents everywhere)))) Avatar ImageSwedishSkinJer says: Desplat is one of the finest classical composers in the business. I fully expect him to do some amazing work for Deathly Hallows Part I. :)Avatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: Well, this composer better be as good as John Williams....... Not to be too harsh, but the music depends on the feeling of the movies.Avatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: Congratulations to him on receiving this recognition and I hope he does a fantastic job with his contributions to the DH film.Avatar Imagenealiezealbie says: isnt he the same composer as 5 & 6? or am i misremembering? i just feel like i've heard of him before...and i know the director is the same for 5, 6, 7a, and 7b...so...? good luck mr. desplat!Avatar Imagenealiezealbie says: would you pronounce his name..."day-plah"? i've never heard it said before that i can remember, but it seems very french.Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: really liked his work for Fantastic Mr. Fox, i'm totally excited now.Avatar ImageForTheGreaterGood says: Don't you think that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II should be dedicated to Richard Harris and others that have dies during the making of the films, like the guy who played Belby? That would be awesome. Richard Harris was the awesomest Dumbledore ever! He is irreplaceable.Avatar ImageLittle Light says: I really hope this guy's good. Everything in Deathly Hallows should be perfect.Avatar Imagehewy says: Here's hoping that John Williams will finish the series and do DH2!!!!!!Avatar ImageSigmaKnight says: Went back and listened to a lot of his stuff today and it was.... disappointing. He really needs to step it up for DH1; and Williams needs to be back for DH2.Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: I hope he does a good score, I'm almost certain he will. I still want John Williams back for Part 2 (but that's really likely now- if they can hire him for that theme park ride they can surely hire him for Part 2)Avatar ImageDirk Cresswell says: I still wish John Towner williams would composing the score for Deathly Hallows, but imho Alexandre Desplats compositions sounds also very well. Avatar ImageToNkS_rip says: Tim Burton!!! i <3 Tim Burton!!!Avatar Imageazaadpotter says: This guy better do well. Deathly Hallows should be fantatsticAvatar ImageSmitch says: Prestige! Avatar ImageMaxtina Potter says: I LLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOVE Desplat! He's perfect! Benjamin Button, Hostage, Golden Compass, New Moon, The Queen... ALL perfect! Looking forward to Deathly Hallows I Score! I really hope he does the second as well!Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: I looked up Alexandre's music, and he seems to like slow, emotional music, which when you think about it is great for DH Part 1. :) Looking forward to hearing his score. I don't think he would be able to score Part 2 as well though ( he doesn't seem used to composing for "non-stop carnage") so John Williams should return for that. If John came back and mixed all his old HP music together with other songs from after PoA (maybe "Fireworks" from OotP) EVERYONE would be in bits by the end of DH 2!! Something like this would be nice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59szWAyIfSwAvatar Imagejhangelgurl says: I hope John Willilams returns for the final film. WB if your reading this please listen to the fans<3Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: oh joyAvatar Imageemdash84 says: NEAT! he was the composer for New Moon as well, and it was beautiful. Fingers crossed for getting John Williams back for the end, though. :)Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: Wow - very exciting!
