Unbelievable news today. THANKS TO YOU the Harry Potter Alliance has won $250,000 in the Chase Community Giving Challenge.

"This is the only time I have no quotes," said Andrew Slack, head of the organization. Slack is known for having a quote for anything at any given time.

Congratulations, this is brilliant news and thoroughly well deserved. The HPA has already done commendable work on so little so I’d love to see how far it can go with this. And well done to all the HP fans who voted.

pretty damn cool. I remember Andrew from the hbp release in harvard square, he was passing out little flyers and just talking to everyone. and it turned into THIS.

This is one of the shortest articles I’ve ever read on this site, and by far the best. Slack is known for having a quote for anything at any given time.’ So perfect!!!!! It’s also the best because the HPA just WON FREAKING 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!! I love the Harry Potter fandom. Not only did we achieve greatness in Harry’s name last night, but we made Andrew Slack speechless!! What a night!! THANK YOU to EVERYONE who made this happen, from everyone who canvassed for votes to Andrew, Kate, Melissa, John, and everyone else who spearheaded the campaign. I am SO incredibly blessed to have found a family in this fandom!!
