August 2010 Craft Along Now Open

As it is now the month of August, our Crafty Witches have launched a brand new Craft-Along, in anticipation of everyone's return to Hogwarts on the 1st of September. This month's challenge is to craft some Hogwarts school supplies; those taking part can either follow one of the tutorials at this link or come up with something new.

MyLeaky points will be awarded to everyone who participates in the Craft-Along as follows:

1 MyLeaky point for signing up for a Craft-Along
1 MyLeaky point for every suggestion you make in the "What's in your Hogwarts school trunk?" thread
5 MyLeaky points for posting pictures of one finished product
10 MyLeaky points for posting pictures of every extra finished product

Cool. I’ll sign up. But do you have to participate a lot? Because I may not have all the supplies needed. I only have knitting needles, yarn and a sewing kit. No fabric and such.

i was thinking about making things like this a month ago or more.. maybe a telescope and some textbooks.. the easiest thing would be a wand, so i wont do that. i have PLENTY of ideas. :)
