The first photo from Emma Watson's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection for People Tree appeared in today's London Evening Standard. The photo, which features Watson wearing her own designs, can be seen here in our galleries. The full Autumn/Winter 2010 collection will be unveiled next week.
In related news, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) has recorded a greeting to be played at Prince Charles' Garden Party To Make A Difference from the 8th to the 19th of September where her Spring/Summer 2011 collection for People Tree will be unveiled in a fashion show.
The Evening Standard article includes a quote from Watson:
I'm so thrilled that People Tree will be showing the spring-summer collection at the garden party. I think the Prince of Wales's initiative is such a brilliant idea and I'm thrilled.

She got a crazy hair cut! It’s soooo short, I almost didn’t recognize her! But this is cool, too! :)

Sorry to go totally off-topic, but I can’t figure out how to notify Leaky about a Potter-related news item that should be reported, so here it is:
Effective August 25, the Potter Puppet Pals folks will no longer be able to market their tee-shirts and other gear, due apparently to a threat of a copyright infringement lawsuit from Warner Brothers. So this is your last opportunity to order yours! (In the interests of full disclosure, I hereby reveal that I have NO connections whatsoever with the young mad geniuses behind PPP, other than that I proudly wear – and drink my coffee out of – some of their merchandise.)
The tee-shirts order page can be found at www.bluetigertees.com/pppstore.htm. And : PPPPPP to WB for spoiling a fun little grassroots enterprise out of corporate greed!
