There are now only 86 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters! We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film. Here is today's!
A flash of brightest blue. Harry froze, his cut finger slipping on the jagged edge of the mirror again. He had imagined it, he must have done. . . . If anything was certain, it was that the bright blue eyes of Albus Dumbledore would never pierce him again.

That was in the Chapter of Malfoy Manor, that was my second favourite chapter next to Prince’s Tale. Then Dobby pops in! Dobby to the rescue!
But then Dobby……….I need a moment……..How could Jo let just a brave character die?! But atleast Dobby had a hero’s death………

It is so heart-breaking when Harry sees the eye of a Dumbledore. Makes you miss APWBD that much more, but there is always Aberforth, who has his own ways:)

That is a great choice to extract from the Deathly Hallows. It gave Harry hope and gave me hope for the Trio when I first read that! Harry is correct, in that Dumbledore is not physically alive to help him any more. Aberforth came into his own in the Deathly Hallows.
