MTV’s Josh Horowitz recently sat down with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe to test his New Yorker knowledge.

Currently starring in the Broadway musical “How to Succeed in Business…” Radcliffe has been living in New York City for several months. He’s quizzed about the best pizza and bagel eateries in the city as well as some sports trivia and general New York attitudes.

Watch the entertaining “Empire State of Mind” segment in the video gallery to find out whether or not Radcliffe is a certified New Yorker!

It is nice to see Dan in a more relaxed interview with some new questions.Avatar ImageWeenyOwl says: Mr. Radcliffe must never eat bagels, because H & H (right across the street from Zabar's) has been the uncontested best for decades upon decades. (You can have them FedExed to yourself at home if you want to test that.) But as for the rudeness question, I think that New Yorkers get a bad rap on that score. True, they don't make eye contact with strangers in public places, especially the subway, but there is a good survivalist reason for that: There are simply too many wackos walking around the City. But within the past year or so, some international travel organization did a survey to find out which major cities in the US and the rest of the world had the rudest citizens, and the people of NYC were actually voted the nicest! I think it's because the City's population has always been so incredibly diverse, and that is accepted as normal and desirable. People may be a little brusque because everyone's always in a hurry somewhere, but it's not a place conducive to snobbery.Avatar Imagekiwimci says: I really want a bagel now.
