Avatar Imagesboyer06 says: Its hard for me to say who I would most readily swap lives with..... I would probably swap lives with Tonks. Shes my favorite character in the series and I love how shes not afraid to go after what she wants and never gives up. I love her easy going personality and the loyalty she has towards her friends. Most of all I love how shes not perfect, she has her flaws and that makes her seem more real.Avatar Imagesboyer06 says: YES!! FIRST TO COMMMENT LOL!!!Avatar ImageLauraKeaton says: I would swap lives with Alicia Spinnet. It would be awesome to play Quidditch, but I don't want any of the drama of being a "main" character. Plus, other than participating in the final battle, no one would be trying to kill me. :)Avatar ImagewayneNtampa says: George Weasley! Having fun with Fred would be the life!Avatar Imageoddbit says: I would swap lives with Luna simply because she has learned to appreciate everything in life, from butter beer bottle corks to the exquisite rareness of a true and lifelong friend. I want to appreciate the magic in all that is around me..from the small and simple to the great. Avatar ImageLoonyLover says: I would swap lives with Luna Lovegood. She is a free-spirit full of wonder and curiosity for all things - not just things that can be seen. She's got one amazing parent who would do anything for her (Even frame Harry Potter!!! ;D). Luna is like the side of my personality that is allowed to live a free and open life without being held back by anything. She may be a little "Loony", but she is my favorite :)Avatar Imagesumm3rjammx3 says: I would like to swap lives with Tonks. Not because she is a Hufflepuff [since I am a proud Gryffindor] but because she was in the Order of the Phoenix and got to marry my favorite character, Remus Lupin.Avatar Imagedanahuff says: I think I'd like to trade places with any of the Ravenclaw students (Luna would be fun). I feel like we learn the least about them in the series, and I would like to learn more about them.Avatar ImageDVM2B says: I would say Hermione but I think my life would be pretty much the same since I'm in grad school and spend most of my time writing papers and worrying about exams. So, I think I would swap lives with McGonagall, so I could be a professor already, haha. But, I would want to be a younger version of McGonagall, because I don't want to wish my life away.Avatar ImageRowena_is_my_hero says: I'd probably swap with Tonks for a couple of days, but obviously before she died... The whole changing your appearance trick is pretty awesome, plus I really admire her independence.Avatar ImageValbiee48 says: I would be Hermione so I would end up with my favorite ginger (: And because she's a very understanding person who can always tell what's going on in people's minds without them ever saying anything. Not to mention I'd pretty much be a genius.Avatar Imageyujiyo says: I would switch with Hermione for her brain power.Avatar ImageLunaCrissy says: I would switch with Luna, shes amazing and shes always there for her friends, she fights for whats right and shes different. You don't get a lot about luna so it would be cool to be herAvatar Imagefairylights04 says: I would swap lives with Ron. He is laid back, funny, has a wonderful family, and ends up marrying the person of his dreams. He has a temper and jealousy issues but if I were him I could work on that :)Avatar ImageSARAH ESTELLE says: haha i would honestly say harry, the journey thru his life amazes me, i love and want my life to be worth something, i need my life to mean something. everything harry does is so critical and effects everyone around him, hes so loyal, and different. he is always tested, like my self, just not with magic. however i am a girl, so i guess i would choose a girl, i would choose Hermione, i love everything about her, we have alot of the same qualities as well. she loves school and learning and dedicates her self to becoming the best she can be. Avatar Imageromeanna says: I'd want to switch with Ginny so I could hang out with the awesome Weasley family. It'd be fun to play quidditch as well. Avatar ImageThatHermioneGranger says: I would switch lives with Ron because he has an amazing family with brothers and a sister that may be annoying at times, are always there for him. Having Molly and Arthur as parents would be the coolest thing in the world.Avatar ImageLaLuney says: I would trade with Fleur. She's beautiful, brave, funny, and stands by Bill even after Greyback messes his face up, saying that she's good-looking enough for both of them. Plus she gets to be a part of the Weasley family.Avatar Imagebutterscotchbeer says: Lily Potter. It was short but full of love. Even from places I'm sure she didn't expect...Avatar ImageSilvery Doe says: I'd switch lives with Hermione Granger. I'm so at home cuddled up with a good book and I'd enjoy the challenges Hermione has faced throughout her journey. She is a strong female character that I greatly admire.Avatar Imagedanielleekerr says: This is a pretty difficult question, but I'd most certainly have to go with Hermione. Not only is she insanely intelligent, she is a strong-headed person. She doesn't just pout when Ron leaves even though he's the love of her life, she fights on with Harry until he returns. Overall, she's just a great person and would do anything for the one's she loves. Hermione has the heart most of us wish we had, while also being so entirely powerful. She has the best friends anyone could ever ask for, and is a powerful witch for being a mudblood. She dedicates herself to everything she needs to accomplish and changes quite thoroughly throughout the novels and movies.Avatar ImageDeliaDee says: I would swap lives with Luna. She's incredibly clever, truly understands the importance of friendship, is fine with herself exactly as she is, and has had incredible parents both of whom gave her only love and acceptance. Avatar ImageMisty says: I'd want to swap with Ginny. She is loyal and brave, and has great magical ability. And I would love to be from such a big family!Avatar Imageclayzy4hp says: I would swap lives with Hedwig! She got to travel all around the world and meet so many different characters. Plus, she got to watch Harry's journey from the beginning and see him grow up with Ron and Hermione. I think that would be really special to witness, especially from the eyes of an owl!Avatar ImageRin68nyr says: I would switch lives with Hermione. She's smart, can think straight when others panic, and she is cares about others, and she is brave and patient.Avatar ImageBradyboy says: Gotta go with Luna. Avatar ImageJustOddBall says: I would swap lives with Ginny, every time. For one thing, she's just plain pretty. I think that's enough said on that subject. But I'd also love being Ginny because she's such a strong, independent girl. She's her own confident, unique person, even when she's grown up in a poor family with six brothers. But that's another great thing about being Ginny- she always knows there'll be somebody there to back her up. Or maybe a lot of somebodies. From battling Death Eaters to helping hide a book, Ginny is ready to do anything for her friends, something I'm not sure if I could do myself. Ginny is a friend for life. Ginny also knows how to kick some serious Death Eater butt. I've always loved that about her. Avatar Imageyerawizardharry says: I would say Luna Lovegood. (: She's so out of it, but so calm & down to Earth. She believes in things that some people don't even dream about - I just love her & her personality. My favorite character defiantly, and the person I'd LOVE to trade places with.Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: I would happily swap lives with Luna because she sometimes lives in a world completely her own but when it counts she's there when people need her. Luna is a loving and loyal friend who is always around for the people she loves. Luna is also a free-spirt who does what she pleases and doesnt care what anyone else thinks, and that is the way we should all be. Who we are and not change ourselfs for other people.Avatar Image1HarryPotterFan123 says: I would most definitely choose Ginny Weasley. She is sporty, loyal, brave, funny, pretty, and stands up for what she believes in. She complains about nothing, and is not the girly-girl that only a few people can [pretend to] love. She's completely likeable, and if the world weren't blinded by Galeons and Blood-Statuses, she would be the most popular girl at Hogwarts. She already kind of is, considering all the boys she's dated! She's the type of girl I always envy (but know i would never live up to). Plus, she gets to kiss Harry! PS Leaky, this isn't an entry I just commented for fun ;)Avatar ImagePax says: Molly Wobbles, er... Weasley - I'd like to be the one to AK Bellatrix! :PAvatar Imagegot2lovme says: Thats a tough one. Its not something ive actually thyought about or cared for. Probably with Hermione. I love how independent and smart she is. Avatar Imageasiefert says: I have to be goofy and choose Hermione simply because she ends up with Ron (one of my favorite characters)! In addition, she is very free willed. She is also intelligent beyond belief and very brave. She is a very strong character, and I admire her for that.Avatar Imageginny_weasley1998 says: I would say Ginny weasley because 1.she is my favorite2.she is beautiful, strong, and powerful.3. She doesn't let people push her around.4. She has awesome family, and that would make me sister-in-laws of hermione!!! And he last is...I have to admit, she is wife of Harry potter, he is just genuinely goodAvatar ImageAndreaB09 says: I would switch with Voldemort. Yes, he is the bad guy. But seeing things from his snake eyes would be interesting. Plus I've always wondered if Voldemort gets the same psychic connection that Harry does throughout the 4-7 book. It would be interesting to get down with my bad Voldemort side.Avatar ImageHermioneKlara says: I would want to be Tonks. She is really funny and can change shapes. I like her attitude and I have the same patronus as her. I wouldn't want to die, but it wouldn't be so bad because it was to take down Voldemort. When I go to camp, my name will be Tonks.Avatar Imagefanofjo says: I think I would trade with McGonagall. I've always wanted to be a teacher, and I just think she's really cool. Strict, but cool.Avatar Imagesciencesitu says: Honestly, I'd switch places with Dobby. I think he is amazing. He is never bitter, always loyal, and so different than other house elves. I admire his spirit so much...I remember reading how he went from house to house asking people to hire him until Dumbledore took him in. He loves socks too, so that's always good.Avatar Imageluna117 says: I would definitely say Luna. She is a very confident person and doesn't seem to care much about what other people think about her. She is incredibly loyal to her friends, which is a trait I admire. She has been through difficult times and even though she is a strong person, she admits that it saddens her to think about them. Avatar Imagevsc1992 says: That's a really tough question. I think I would have to choose Ginny. She's such a strong character (in the books anyway...) and it would be great to be part of the Weasley family.Avatar ImageDharereal says: I'd have to say Albus Dumbledore. He's a good person, and even though he did some not so great things in his teenage years,I like what he did in his later years. Deafting Grindelwald, discovering the 7 uses of dragon blood, and using the elder wand in the right way. I like his personality. He is caring, gentle, but powerful at the same time. He really trusts people like Snape who are very hard to trust. And even though his fascination of the Hallows brought about his sister Arina's death and caused him to have a black hand and a planned death, he was a great man with great purposes. I have this personality. He was mighty and I'm just like him. Long live Albus Percivil Wilfred Brian DumbledoreAvatar ImageRavenclawfan101 says: The charcter I would switch places with is Mr. Ollivander. Even though you only really see and hear about him in the first and seven books and movies, he is just that interesting and mysterious person. You don't know when he went to Hogwarts or what house he was in or even what teachers taught their. If i was him, I would know all of that. What is also really interesting about him is his job. He gets to make and sell wands. Each wand is individually, hand-made and none of them are the same. He also gets to see all the new faces come into his shop and try out wands until it picks them. His job seems so fun because I would love to help out people and watch them to see which wand choses them. So, Mr. Ollivander would be the character I would switch with.Avatar Imageallprostar31 says: It would for sure be Ginny. Even though I'm a guy in the muggle world, I've always wanted to see the world from the witch point of view, not the wizard.Avatar Imagelovelyylilyy says: I would need to say Luna Lovegood because...well just because. She isn't a main character, and isn't someone everyone loves. She's an independent young women and yet she maintains a positive outlook and an ability to offer insight into less concrete topics. Avatar Imagel.lovegood says: I would swap lives with Hermione because she is extremely smart, she is part of the Trio, she is the brains behind the Trio (and saves the three of them numerous times), she eventually marries Ron (I love Ron!), she has faced a lot of prejudices for being a muggleborn (among many other obstacles) and is still willing to be herself and fight for the right cause, and she stands up for what she believes in (like S.P.E.W. and the D.A.).Avatar Imagel.lovegood says: Also, I forgot to add, when I read the books when I was younger, I felt like I could relate to her the most because not only did I feel like I looked similar to her description in the books (brown, bushy hair and brown eyes) but also I loved school and learning new things.Avatar Imageninjalissa says: I would love to switch with Ginny. She is quiet and knows exactly what to say when something needs to be said. Ginny love all her friends and family; all of whom are AMAZING! Ginny starts out as "Ron's little sister" but then becomes her own person and a force to be recon with. Her room is a reflection of her personality. Bright and full of sunshine. Ginny becomes Harry's hope and strength. She is what gets Harry to do things that must be done to keep her safe, even though she is a good fighter. I hope to inspire a guy like that one day.Avatar ImageMirdan says: I'd switch with Charlie Weasley in a heartbeat! Working with dragons, hey, just seeing dragons would be so amazing. But if as a girl, I have to pick a girl, probably Tonks.Avatar Imagerbhudson says: Hermione. As a muggleborn, she had one of the most exciting transitions into the wizarding world. Plus, I already love books and learning, so it wouldn't be such a huge change in personality.Avatar ImageVerityDarling says: Honestly? Anyone! For so long I've lived in the world that authors have created for me. Worlds of magic and amazing creatures and immense beauty. Of fairy tales and happy endings. I would give anything to trade places with someone in Harry Potter. Most of all, i think I'd like to trade with Ginny :) She's in the perfect position! Shes got Harry as a partner, Ron as a brother and Hermione as an in-law! I could think of a better situation :)Avatar ImageHPandtheDA007 says: If I could swap lives with any of the characters it would probably be Ron and Hermione's daughter Rose. It would be suAvatar ImageHPandtheDA007 says: If I could swap lives with any of the characters it would probably be Ron and Hermione's daughter Rose. It would be super wicked to have them as parents because I would have Hermione to help me with my studies but then I could also be daddy's little girl amd have Ron teach me how to play Quidditch. Plus Harry and Ginny would then be my uncle amd aunt and who wouldn't want the Boy Who Killed Voldemort as his or her uncle?!?! Avatar ImageHPandtheDA007 says: Sorry for the double message! I accidently hit submit. This is hard to do from an iPod =)Avatar ImageKalianna_Riddle says: Luna. I love Hermione and all but sometimes, being bossy is too much. Just go with flow and let the wind take you where it takes you. Luna is smart and always calm. And even though she's a bit weird, she still has many loyal friends. Luna really seems to know what shes doing even though the nargles are everywhere. I love Luna. I would so trade lives with her even if that means having a crazy dad.Avatar Imagehrrypttrfn328 says: I would definitely swap with Luna. I feel this connection with her, both of us are pretty outcast, live alone with father after untimely death of mother, so on and so forth. The fact that I like me for me means that I would be happy to trade with someone in a similar situation. Also, I admire Luna's ability to not give a hoot.Avatar Imageaber4th says: I would most readily swap lives with Molly Weasley. She is dedicated to doing what is right, lives at the Burrow (how fun would that be?!) and best of all, she gets to share her life with seven wonderful children and a kind and funny husband. Though there are characters (like Ginny) whose lives I might like more to have (pro quidditch? Harry's wife? Heck yes!), I think honestly I would have the least trepidation about switching lives with Molly. Though she lives through great fear and tragedy, she is surrounded by abundant sources of JOY.Avatar Imagexwp615 says: Ginny Weasley!!!Avatar ImageLostProphet says: I would most readily switch lives with Ginny, and not for the obvious reasons. ;) I think It would be awesome to live in a big family, coming from a relatively small one in which I rarely, if ever, meet anyone outside my immediate family. I'd have loved to grow up in a large family, seeing different people all the time, and having a bunch of older siblings. I wouldn't mind being the youngest either, because even though she's the youngest, In my opinion, she's the strongest of the bunch. Plus, I'd get the opportunity to play Quidditch for Gryffindor as a Chaser, which would be absolutely Ah-mazing! :) Avatar ImageDreamsMelody says: I would love to switch lives with Luna just because she takes the magical world to a whole new level. Seeing life through her eyes would be amazing. She seems very perceptive about things even though everyone thinks she's distant. Avatar Imageapkr42 says: I would definitely want to swap lives with Hermione. Not only does she have the two greatest friends in the world, but she is so ambitious and logical. I'm a lot more easy going than she is and I'm not nearly as quick to recall small details, so I think it would be a nice change of pace. Also, I absolutely love Ron, (he's my favorite character) so no complaints there. Mostly I think I would enjoy her sense of purpose and extreme organizational skills. I'm never has prepared as she is! She is a strong and brave person who is very easy to admire. We also already have the same birthday :)Avatar ImageSeason says: Like to switch with Mrs. Weasley. She has a method to her mayhem that works. Always dreamed of being able to twitch my nose or cast a spell to have my work effortlessly done. Although she has more children then I do. The Weasley's aren't millionaires but know that love is more important then money. She has a lot on her shoulders and manages with necessities. Mrs. Weasley knows how to help someone feel at home no matter the circumstance. Avatar Imagedemonslullaby says: Honestly, I would want to trade Ives with Severus Snape. I feel that, besides Harry, he was the most important character in the book, and the most beneficial to the war. Everything he lived his life for came back and helped Harry at the end to the war when HP went to fight Voldie. Snape was such a complex character, and we rarely got to see a different side of him other than his "mean potions master" side. Jo gave him one of the most dramatic deaths in the series, and afterword showed us way he was the way he was throughout the series. The way his character was weaved through the books. I feel that it would give a rare chance into the life of one of the most interesting characters. Avatar Imagehpismyworld321 says: I would probably have to say Ginny Weasley. She's smart and funny. And I would just love to be apart of the Weasley family. There whole dynamic is wonderful. Also, I love her attitude, she doesn't take crap from people, especially Ron, and I would love to have that much confidence in myself. She is probably one of my top 3 favorite characters in the book. Also, who wouldn't want to marry Harry Potter??Avatar Imagekyrstalkris says: I would swap lives with Hermione, no doubt. Why? She is my favorite character, and always has been right from the beginning! I think in any situation she has been in in the seven Harry Potter books, I would fit in! I am right now, a big know-it-all, very supportive, very grounded (I can lead Harry and Ron into the correct direction), and I'm also a quick thinker! The way Hermione used her brain in Deathly Hallow amazed me, and if I was in her position, I know I would do the almost same thing! Besides the fact that I'm a lot like her, I really want to switch lives with her because, I love action and adventure and she seems to be part of some of that (but not too much, I do need a break once in a while!) and she seems to be the brains, knowing when and what to do and how to do it! And, I would love to see what life is like as one of the trio!Avatar ImageG.Weasley says: I would have to say Ginny, because she has a lot of bravery, and she's not afraid to fight back against evil. She believes anything can be done if you try hard enough, and that is a really good quality. She wants to fight, and doesn't like being told to wait. She has had an amzing adventure, and i would want my life to mean something, and her whole life has meant something important, and she always believes in hope. She knew she would have to wait for love, but eventually it found its way to her, and she never gave up, she always hoped.Avatar Imagekloutz says: Hermione...because if I had to choose between being breathtakingly beautiful, perfectly clever, or angelically good, I would choose all 3 - and she is! Avatar ImageHedwig23 says: This is a easy one for me. I would be Molly Weasel. She has taken in Harry and has treated him like he is one of her own son's and is willing to protect him at any cost. I love Molly she is a great and caring person and mother.Avatar Imagekira902k says: I would want to swap lives with Luna, because although bad things happen to her in the seventh book, she always manages to be so positive about things. Imagine seeing life through her eyes? Everything is so beautiful and magical and pure to her, and I would do anything to be able to just whole-heartedly believe in wonderful things as easily as she can. She is not quick to judge anyone, and I believe she sees the best in everyone, no matter what. You never hear her hating on anyone throughout the books. I think the world would be a better place if we could all see it through Luna's eyes, at least a little bit. She is so honest, yet trusting, and I think she has qualities everyone could benefit from, and I'd love to experience them for at least a day. There is so much to learn from her.Avatar ImageTreeHugger says: I would want to swap lives with Luna. She is outgoing, crazy and just all around fun. She is also unique, completely unique. She is basically the person I would aspire to be!Avatar Imagepinklaura says: Fred or George Weasley! I would love to be hilarious and play jokes on people all the time...and also be clever about it. Avatar ImageBless_the_children says: I would most readily swap lives with McGonagall. In some ways, she has a limited role in the books becuase Harry sees her only at Hogwarts as a general rule. However, she gets to meet and influence all of the children of the wizarding world, and prepare them for their future. She has been a remarkable influence on the series. she knew the young Tom Riddle, and later fought him face-to-face as an adult. She has been a member of the Order twice, and helped Harry Potter and company to save the world. I would love to stand in her boots, and live her magical life. (I cannot wait to find out about her back story).Avatar ImageNevilla says: Ginny. She is beautiful, loyal, courageous, and grows up to be a famous sports hero and marries the man of her dreams! She's not afraid to throw it all down and fight for her family and friends. She's got the perfect personality fit for me. Avatar Imageeinstine says: life swaps would be with harry, coz i had everything in my life loving family, gr8 frnds and a very protected fulfilling life just lacking adventure that i think harry's life has in tremendous amounts so i'd switch it with harry:)Avatar Imagebookworm1118 says: I would swap lives with Hermione because she works hard and always trys her hardest on everything. She's also really good at being able to tell what people are thinking and telling others how to react in the situation.Avatar ImageTx Highlife says: I would switch with Professor McGonagall. I truly think she must have a rich history. The accomplishments we know about are extraordinary, Hogwarts Transfiguration professor, Head of Gryffindor House, Headmistress, Deputy Headmistress under Dumbledore, member of the Order of the Phoenix, Animagus. I think it would be one extraordinary day to be her and to know all her secrets! ConnieAvatar ImageWeasleytwin968 says: I think I would swap with Ginny. She's a very talented witch, and she is very much like me. I love jokes and pranks, but I can be very serious if I have to. I would love to have such a big family, and Ginny is also one of my favorite characters. I think I also resemble Hermione, because I love learning new things. but in the magical world it would be far more interesting than in the Muggle world. but I would still choose Ginny.Avatar Imagetaddydavens says: When asked this question, my mind honestly jumps to Nymphadora Tonks Lupin, lovingly known as Tonks. It would be, of course, an extremely wonderful thing even to BE a wizard, let alone one of the characters. I would readily swap lives with Tonks. Her being a Metamorphmagus just ADDS to the wonderful life of hers. I'd love to be an Auror, and I'd absolutely have a blast with being able to change my appearence. With the amount of hair dye I go through now, being able to have whatever hair I wanted would be a miracle. So I would chose Tonks. Hufflepuffs, true and loyal, steady badgers unafraid of toil!Avatar ImageRemusRox says: I would have to say Luna. Her perspectives on life are remarkable. I'd want to know how she sees the world. I want to understand what shaped her.Avatar ImageaurorBUTLER says: id swap lives with fred weasley. even though he meets an unpleasant end. I would adore being a part of the weasley family and having arthur and molly as parents. it would also be so cool to be a twin! fred is so loved and popular with the students. he and george are always mischievous, having a laugh and are always very enterprising. i would have loved to stick it to one of my teachers like he did to umbridge by dropping out of school in such spectacular fashion! id rather be fred than george because george will have to continue on with life after losing fred. i think that would be too devastating so i would rether go out as fred who has lived a fun filled life with no regrets.Avatar ImageLolarose says: TONKS!!! Definitely Tonks....the ability to change your hair colour at will?? Your whole appearance should you so desire...and to be adored by Remus Lupin......ahhh, if only!! Tonks is cool and laid back, very brave and she doesn't care about messy houses...in fact she thinks a clean house is unnatural, so I'm half Tonks alreadyAvatar ImageAnnaGrace says: I have always wanted to swap lives with Harry. I suppose that might be an odd thing to say since his life is filled with so much pain and loss and grief, but it's also filled with things that most people never get to experience: epic adventures, real-life intrigue, friends that would actually die for him, intense love for and from the people around him, and let's not forget the real magic he gets to use in daily life. I know being Harry would be incredibly hard, but it would also be amazingly fulfilling, I think. I've always absolutely loved his relationship with Dumbledore (not to mention Ron and Hermione) and it would be wonderful to be able to experience that.Avatar Imagebookworm1118 says: And adding to my comment on page five, Hermione always stands up for what she believes is right, no matter what popular opinion says.Avatar ImageRubeusHagrid says: I would, at the beginning of the series, have wanted to swap places with Harry. You get Hagrid to pick you up, you go to Diagon Alley, you get sorted. It's an amazing experience. But Harry and his friends had such difficult adolescents so I think I'd not be very eager to swap with any of them. However, being Hagrid would be very fun. You get to converse daily with such amazing people like Flitwick, McGonagall and Dumbledore, while attending amazing feasts. You also get to live in that nice house, and have these awesome creatures, and learn more about them. You get to see Harry, Ron and Hermione often and have fun with them, but never in absolute danger. I'd love to switch with Rubeus Hagrid. :)Avatar ImageRhemas says: My what a fascinating topic...I would say I would swap with Harry. Through all the pain and angst, I would not trust very easy and would not forgive very easy either. Needless to say I would have changed his love life and friendship early on(sorry Ron, you were not much of a friend the last 3 years in school). Well who knows what could have been, guess thats what fanific is for!Avatar Imageagarwalsonika7 says: I guess I'd switch with Hermione. She's brave, loyal, trustworthy, kind,................, helpful.......... and a true Hero! I don't reside in USA but felt like commenting.Avatar Imageiwannabeanauror says: Well, if I were taking a math test, I'd switch with Hermione :-D but any other time I'd switch with Hagrid. He is very interesting, and it would be cool to see what his life is like and do the planning of Care of Magical Creatures class.Avatar Imagehalfbloodprincesss says: I would switch with Cho Chang because as much as I really dislike her, I'd want to find out just exactly HOW she got into Ravenclaw. Plus I'd get to kiss Harry :)Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: The Minister Of Magic...Avatar Imagecrncybwn says: molly weasley - i could the house work done and be contented with life except when dealing the twins of mischiefAvatar ImageEscere says: I'm not sure if I want to be anyone because their lives kind of suck. Maybe Harry, if I could make his choices for him. I feel like I would make much better choices, and I don't have such a temper. I relate the most with Luna and I feel like I could handle her life the best. I think we are rather alike, though tend to be a mix of her and Ginny. Or however ends up with Neville cause he's awesome.Avatar Imagebailey.lottes says: I would probably switch lives with Hermione just because I love the fact that she is so intelligent! I would love to have her ability to read for hours on end and absorb all the knowledge possible. I also love her friendship with Harry and how her relationship with Ron came about. It's exactly how I want to fall in love, with my best friend. Avatar Image.ProudRavenclaw. says: I would swap lives with definitely Luna Lovegood. She is just brilliant! Not afraid to express herself, and live her life! She is greatly unique, and does not listen to the opinions of others, which is what I do myself in my own life. She is just fantastic at being herself no matter what. Not to mention, her curiosity and sense of creativity would be a joy to experience. I love all of her creative pieces aswell! From her butterbeer cork necklace, to her Spectrespecs, to her dirigible plum earrings! Also, to be the daughter of Xenophilius, the editor of the Quibbler would be a thrill! His quirky, weird self is great and I'm sure a fun time to have as a father. I myself did not grow up with a not so well father, so he seems rather perfect! Especially with the care and love he shows towards his daughter to be willing to turn in Harry, Ron, and Hermione to Death Eaters. Being in Ravenclaw is another advantage, seeing it is my destined house! I would just LOVE to experience that! And her sum of friends, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville.. Who wouldn't want them? I just simply adore Luna and would be VERY comfortable to switch lives! Avatar ImageMopingMoaningMyrtle says: I would most likely swap lives with Hermione. She reminds me of myself in many ways. Grades are very important, as are rules. She is a very loyal friend, and very hardworking. Without her, Ron and Harry would not have survived. Yes, she may be a bossy know-it-all at times, but I believe that her good qualities override her bad ones. She may not have it easy, with being teased for being Muggleborn, but the way she handles it is simply fantastic. She never gives up on anything. This is why I would like to switch lives with Hermione.Avatar Image2tal says: Neville Longbottom The arc of Neville's story is one of my favorites in the entire saga. How his parents battled Voledmort and how he lost them to madness and the love he shows them. How his grandmother raised him, how she was clearly critical of him, but also loved and supported him. And how he grows from an insecure bumbler into a true leader of the rebellion. He will never stop fighting the dark side. It is sweet to find him at the end as a teacher at Hogwarts! Imagine that being your life work after all the tragedy, growth, friendship and love that came before!! Imagine living at Hogwarts! Yes, Neville! PS. I also considered Luna. She is such an open, truthful, loving spirit.Avatar ImageKarina19 says: If I could pick someone to swap with it would be Neville. Hes not my favortie character but he is a great character. In the earlier books he was a clumisy kid who couldnt do anything right. But in the order of the phoniex he shows his bravery and his true friendship. I would want to be Neville because he is a great friend and one of the bravest characters.Avatar ImageElwood J. Blues says: I would swap lives with Hagrid. He not only teaches, which is something I adore doing, but he also is like a quasi-father figure to Harry. Despite those who are prejudiced against him, he is loved by most everyone at Hogwarts, that it something I love about him. He doesn't have any enemies. Avatar ImageJadeDanielle says: I think I would swap lives with Luna. She's had some tragic events in her life, and she's teased by her classmates, yet she still stays true to herself and keeps a positive attitude. She's also a very good friend, and seems very caring.Avatar ImageJadeDanielle says: I think my comment/choice isn't actually quite the right answer to the question...I read it as which character would you like to BE for some reason. Didn't realize it until I'd hit submit. Oops :PAvatar ImageNevermorex says: Severus Snape. He's strong, dedicated, and-- above all-- a man of mystery. Though much of his young life was filled with pain and suffering, he became the one and ultimate deceiver. Who else could have masked his true intentions to the most powerful wizard of all time? And to be best friends with Dumbledore, to know so perfectly the routes of good and evil... well I think Severus had the best of both worlds and used his experiences in the most altruistic way.Avatar Imageroseteaxx says: I would probably switch lives with Fred Weasley if I had the choice. Of course, it would be extremely fun to have a twin like George, and it seems that the two have a connection like none other in the series. They are always loyal to each other and they truly care about each other, and they know each other right down to the bone. I think it would be absolutely wonderful to have a relationship like that. Also, they accomplish so much together, from their Skyving Snackboxes to their famous prank of the Portable Swamp. Whatever they do, they always put a dash of fun into it. They opened Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and it was a huge success. Of course, there is also the bonus of having grown up in the Weasley family. The Weasleys are extremely caring, even if they aren't the wealthiest of families, and they are loyal and brave. Additionally, playing Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team must be wonderfully fun. Heck, even being able to grow up in the Wizarding World and attend Hogwarts in the first place would be fantastic! But Fred and George really do make the very best of their time there. So why Fred over George? Partially because George loses an ear, but it's mostly because Fred dies a hero. He dies laughing, joking, but he dies fighting against the Death Eaters, and that is a truly noble way to go. I wouldn't want to be George because I don't know if I'd be able to stay sane if I'd lost someone so close to me. So yes, I'd definitely want to swap places with Fred Weasley.Avatar ImageAshleyRickman says: I would switch lives with Lily Evans. Before the disastrous decision to leave Snape in the dust for James. I would have changed history and marry dear Severus. Plus how cool would it have been to be able to see a true smile slide across his face? Although if I had to switch and not change history, I would pick McGonagall. I would not mind having Dumbledore as my gbf. He had great fashion sense! Avatar ImagePippi Weasley says: Molly Weasley would be my choice because she is an excellent wife and mother. She is strong and independent as well as being caring and open-hearted. Plus, I could really use her cooking skills!Avatar Imageaftonaftonafton says: I would swap lives with Hermione. Switching with Hermione would mean being able to both be connected to the Muggle world and the wizarding world. She is brave, intelligent, loyal, and she winds up with Ron ;) I feel the closest to Hermione because I imagine that she is constantly amazed by things in the wizarding world and always wants to know more about it just like Harry Potter fans.Avatar Imagetimtimloveslupin says: I would swap lives with Hermione, so I good 'get it on' with a certain Ronald Weasley ;)Avatar ImageGinnnygal says: I would swap lives with Fred and George Weasley! Being able to make people laugh, to make people happier, to make them smile, is just one of the greatest feelings in the world. To be able to have their sense of humor would be great! Never having to take anything seriously, and always being able to find the humor in even the most serious situations. Even though money may not come in a great abundance to them, I think the Weasley twins have a fantastic life and a great sense of humor. Besides their sense of humor, they are both incredibly handsome, and can put on a bloody well fight! The two of them never worried, or gave a single thought about being poor, for they always had high spirits to keep them alive during hard times.Avatar Imagekiwimci says: She's by far not my favourite character, so you have no idea how surprised I was when I came to my conclusion. I'd pick Ginny! She's funny, smart, head strong, rarely weepy, brave, trustworhty, has wonderful loving brothers and such a brave family-man husband, and 3 cool kids (and had quite a bit of fun in her younger years at school ;) Huh! I'd be Ginny, it seems so obvious I'm amazed I've never stumbled across how much I like this character! Hah thanks for the question I've never been asked before Leaky and my new view of Ms Weasley/Potter!Avatar Imageharmonyproud says: I would most readily swap places with Professor McGonnagall. She's so independent and awesome that It wouldl be amazing to be her for just a few hours. I would also be very interested in teaching Transfiguration, also, because being a Hogwarts professor teaching any subject would be beyond cool.Avatar Imageawesomeaardvark says: I'd have to go with Fleur. She's super fierce, has a wonderful family, fights for what she believes in, and is gorgeous to boot.Avatar Imageronandharrylover says: i would love to be hermione because she gets to go on all the amazing adventures and is in the trio. She is also the one that can get far in life because shes smart. She is allways there to help her friends and allways knows how her friends feel and are thinking. One big thing is she marrys Ron, gotta love ron<3Avatar Imagepumpkin3 says: oh, wow, that's hard. i guess i would switch with ginny. she is strong, smart, independent, good at two positions in quidditch, and has an awesome familyAvatar Imagemagicmaniac says: I would switch with teddy lupin. Why because we don't know much about him, he is not a main character but i still hang out with potter, he can change his appearance like his mom, and he is a plain out boss. i love himAvatar Imagelolliedoodle says: I would most deffinately trade places with either Ginny or maybe even Luna. Ginny because she isnt affraid of anything that comes her way. She wants to make a difference, like Hermione. She truely wants to prove herself! Usually I would say Hermione but as Luna or Ginny I could be her best friend! haha! But as Luna, I could be so free of worry, and still be my artistic self! Im already not the most normal girl... but at least as Luna, I would be able to shake off rude comments, and express myself freely through fashion (thinking of raddish earrings and bottle cap necklaces ;D ), and through creativity! However I MAY decide I want to trade with Hermione... Im already very studious, but it could be fun to be Hermione! ~ Brooke ;^{DAvatar ImageGwynogs_rabbit says: I think I would like to switch lives with Xeno Lovegood. Writing his own paper, with his own press, and going on adventures with his daughter - exactly how I would love to live! I also love how Luna was free to paint whatever she wanted all over the house.Avatar ImageOpheliaDecessus says: I would swap lives with Luna Lovegood. She's wise and people always underestimate her and because of that she has a unique perspective.Avatar Imagenelliebelle says: Molly Weasley!Avatar Imagemooss says: I would probably want to switch places with Hermione, Luna or Ron. I honestly can't decide. They are all great people and seem like they would have really fun and cool lives. And they're all so different from each other so it's hard to decide.Avatar Imagealoyalhufflepuff says: As tempted as I am to choose one of the trio I'm sure that they will be most people's answers so I want to select a less prominent character in the series. I think I would choose either Fred or George, though preferably George seeing as he doesn't die. They both have so much fun in life and really make the most of it. They were always quick with a joke and brightened the moods of everyone around them even if they did drive Molly insane.Avatar Imagehandhrfan18 says: if i had to switch, i would switch with ginny weasley. I am very much like her, i love playing sports like quidditch and i love being surrounded by a loving family she has. I am amazed at how loyal she is to her friends and espically how nice she is to luna and i would do that same! She is a little tomboy like me and i just love her character <3Avatar Imagebellbell127 says: Thats a hard question. i feel like every character has a hard life and background. I would want to swap life's with Luna lovegood. She has a hard background but that just made her a stronger character that stays true to who she is. for that i respect herAvatar Imagecaboeyes says: I would want to be Molly Weasley. She is a loving mama who puts the needs of her children and family first, plus she keeps a cozy home, knits and can kick butt when necessary!Avatar Imagecluna123 says: I would want to switch lives with Luna Lovegood. First off, she is my favorite character as well as my role model because of how different and truthful she is. Also, I love her style, it is very unique. Plus, who wouldn't want to be the daughter of the editor of the Quibbler? Avatar ImageTheKeyWithMe says: Hermione, totally Hermione. She is super smart and resourceful, just like me. She was also almost in Ravenclaw, which I would be in.I love her, and Ron, they make a wonderful couple. :) I love Harry Potter. She also needs braces ;) With muggle parents. I would totally switch with Hermione.Avatar Imagetruthbetold says: I would readily switch lives with Fred Weasley. While he may have been the twin who dies he always seemed to stand out more between the two twins to me. He is the complete opposite of me: daring, likes to joke around, doesn't take anything too seriously and creative. These are some of the qualities that I wish I could improve on or be like which is why I would definitely switch lives with him. I would love the chance to be someone that I wish I could be more like. I wish I would be daring and not be afraid to make a fool of myself. He also doesn't seem to care about what other people think which is something I tend to worry about. I really admire Fred and wish that I wasn't afraid to just be myself in front of others. I would also love to be a twin and have someone that thinks very similarly to me. Having a twin would be like having the best friend who would definitely know me like no one else would. Another thing I love about Fred is that he owns the greatest joke shop in the wizarding world. I've always wanted to find something I am incredible passionate in and Fred found something that he absolutely loves with his brother. I love his joke shop, the creations inside are so creative that I wish they were actually real sometimes. I would definitely prank people if I was brave enough or could get the chance. And if I were Fred I would definitely get my chance! And besides who wouldn't want to own a joke shop that brings joy (or pain) to so many people in the magical world? Avatar Imagewiz witch says: *I do not wish to enter the comp but I am going to answer that anyways* Probably Ginny Weasley. She's great at sport, very popular, and quite clever too... plus she has the funniest brothers on earth - Fred and George! :)Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Good luck!Avatar Imagehalfmugglemom says: I so admire Professor McGonagal. She is kind but firm, quiet yet always there to help. She's perfect!Avatar Imagesuzyweasley says: I think I'd have to say Hermione, I'd love to just feel that brainy and brave for a day.Avatar Imagesistertigger says: Probably Hermione! She gets to kiss Ron!!! And she's the best at spells!Avatar ImageRd4598 says: I should like to swap places with Ginny Weasley. She is a very powerful witch, but is pretty quiet about it, until you get her angry. Ginny wins the heart of Harry Potter by loving who he is inside rather than because he is "the chosen one."Avatar ImageImJustLikeLunaLovegood says: Its hard to say.....But here are the few. Luna Lovegood - She's bright, enthusiastic and does what she wants and doesn't care what people think about her. Not to mention her radish ear - rings are THE COOLEST THINGS EVER! Ginny Weasly - She's confident, smart, pretty AND she's with Harry! XDD Hermione - Hermione is really smart and nice, and can fight if nessecary (when she punched Draco) AND she ends up with Ron! The only thing better then being with Harry is being with Ron. Tonks - She is awsome...except....well she dies....but you could change appearence when she wants (That would be so useful)Avatar ImageLily Evans30 says: Hermione, shes amazing! Avatar ImageColby26 says: I would switch with one of the Weasley twins. Although they are different in their own way, they always seem to have the best adventures; and I would love to go on a wild adventure with either of them.Avatar Imagevikehi says: Ginny. No doubt about it, Ginny. She's smart, funny, brave, and capable of giving all the guys in her life what for and being the boss. While very different in many ways, she is her mother's daughter. A strong woman who rules over her men. Avatar Imageamelia 1-2-3- says: hmmmm i would have to say......ginny. Avatar Imagehalf-bloodprince says: I would switch with Ginny. She is super nice, but only if you deserve it! She is really talented, especially with the Bat-Bogey Hex! Being her would be fun because she is around all sorts of people, both the trio and their friends, and fun people in her year. Plus, if I was her, I would marry HARRY! :D That's the best part.Avatar ImageMindyHildBlack says: Ginny...her life isn't necessarily easy but it doesn't seem to get to her. She is self-assured (more so as she gets older) and really comes into her own in the last few books. She's also incredibly loyal and brave. Besides, I'd love to have that long red hair of hers!Avatar ImagethelonglostWeasley says: Hmm... Tough choice. It has to Ginny Weasley! She grows up with all older brothers. I have always wanted to have older brothers! She is smart and confident, and friendly and stubborn, and brave. She is also loyal. And she has amazing Bat-boogey Hex skills!! I would also love to switch with Luna! She is so free to be herself!!Avatar Imageowlchick says: I'd swap places with Dumbledore but I'm afraid I'd be overwhelmed with all the tasks he performs so effortlessly and skillfully. So, instead I'd probably switcheroo with Luna Lovegood as she's just plain cool and smart, but not in an in-your-face way. True, she has a knack for disarmingly awkward honesty, but she's got heart so you can never fault her. Plus, she's artistic and if you're lucky enough to be her friend, you know that she'll always have your back. Avatar Imageinferisharkblood says: I would swap with Hermione. I'm the person who makes sure things get done and even though I'm not the outright "leader" of the group like Harry, I shoulder my responsibilities just as well and without me the group doesn't go very far. I'm like the person behind the scenes making it all happen...sort of like Slughorn, too. But I wouldn't want to swap with him...his personality isn't to be envied, in my opinion.Avatar ImageDirectorbeme says: I would swap with Ginny Weasley because I really love how she comes to own who she is as the story progresses. I find her very respectable.Avatar Imagedobbyisfreee says: um, i would be hermione so i could marry ron and have his babies. duh?Avatar ImageHPABSOLUTE1FAN says: I would definitley swap lives with Ginny Weasley (also know as Bonnie Wright). Ginny inspires me so much. She is a stront character. She's brave, smart, and hard-working. Not to mention she marries Harry!
