A new Harry Potter pop-up store has opened on the third floor of the popular London department store, Harrods.

Fans will have the opportunity to shop for Harry Potter products from the likes of the Noble Collection, LEGO, Hasbro and more. Original costumes and props from the films will also be on display, and visitors will get a sneak peek at the upcoming attraction, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter. A special installation has been set up by Warner Bros. Studio Tour London where fans can take their photo at the Great Hall

There will also be game booths set up for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, once it is released on Nov. 18.

For more information, check out the press release on Facebook. The Harry Potter store in Harrods will be open until January 2012.

Avatar ImageJoRowlingRocks says: Gahh I was in London on Saturday why couldn't they have opened it then! I went to Hamley's and they didn't have what I wanted in stock =(Avatar ImageAppaketoope says: OMG,OMG,OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i so want to go there it is so unfair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: OMG why couldnt we have something like this in the states!?!?! London gets all the good stuff, *pouty face* I could really use a HP store now, I need to find a Ravenclaw tei ASAP!Avatar Imagemoonstone nox says: can't wait to get to London!!Avatar Imageweasleywannabe1997 says: I was in London last week!!! Just missed the opening. We were at Harrod's and I saw the promotional posters and wanted to scream! (Tried to act dignified and squelched it, though!) Avatar ImageLivi22 says: I'm going on Saturday! Yay!Avatar Imagemuggleborn08 says: OMG ! I'm going to London in 4 days ! So exciting !!Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: *WANTS TO GO TO LONDON* but I live in the US :'( I hate living here sometimes.. well actually most of the timeAvatar Imageharrypotter4258 says: Too bad it's in London. :(Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: I would like to go but even if I did I would be able to afford anything there :/Avatar ImageMoonlitFox says: If I could afford it all, I would so take a plane trip over to London. But alas, I don't have the money for such a trip. :( Avatar ImageG.Weasley says: THIS SUCKS! Everything that's being opened in Harry Potter is never ever opened in Canada! I mean seriously it's so unfair, at least have one store! Ugh well anyway at least they have a store that's not in the theme park.Avatar Imagegirlatty1 says: Very fun!Avatar Imageglow_freak says: You know everyone complains that they never open any stuff in the States or Canada or where ever, but does anyone stop and think that it makes more sense to open stuff there then here? I live in Canada and we never get anything, but I would rather go to London and experience HP then have anything come here. If I'm there I get to experience so much more of Harry's world; I get to see what he saw, and experience parts of what he experienced, instead of getting some store that sells HP merchandise. Avatar Imagelizzardbreath says: I agree with glow_freak, I think it's just cool they teamed up Harrod's of all places, that's a posh place. Avatar ImageXyra44 says: I really wish a trip to London was in my future. Avatar Imagekyrstalkris says: Wow, how cool is that?!Avatar Imagejacket says: Man, I wish I could go there. It sounds pretty cool! Avatar ImageElizabeth says: I am so jealous! I wish I could go and check it out. Next time I'm visiting family over in London, I'll have to check it out!!!Avatar ImageLoki328 says: I think I'm just going to move to London, they really do get everything! :(Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Very nice indeed...Avatar ImageWant to be a Weasley says: That sounds like that would definitely be fun to browse through the store. Wish I lived closer or had a private plane :-)Avatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: Thats so coolAvatar Imageemmawatsonfan13 says: How long will the store be open for? Is it there for good or will it move to somewhere else in a couple of months?Avatar Imagehermione62091 says: Oh men I wish I live in London. That shop sound pretty cool.Avatar ImageWeenyOwl says: I also agree with glow_freak. I visited the Wizarding World last year and it was a lot of fun, but there's something not right about standing in the Florida heat and humidity, drinking a Butterbeer served icy rather than warming, looking at the beautiful Hogsmeade buildings covered in plastic snow. If I could afford it I would rather see the artifacts of the Potterverse set in its native British context.
