It's also a very special day for another Emma on the Harry Potter cast: Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, is celebrating her 21st birthday today! The actress has posted a birthday message on her official website in both video and text form where she talks about what she's been up to. Many happy returns on this particularly special birthday, Emma!

How ironic that she’s taking a leave of absence from Brown just as she becomes old enough to drink legally in the US! I hope that she makes it back to finish her education before too much time elapses and she gets sucked into some other celebrity-world vortex. Well, many happy returns, Ms. Watson, and don’t let anybody talk you out of keeping your hair so elegantly short and sophisticated.
