Thanks to our friends over at, we have a new deleted scene included as part of the special features of the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" DVD set to be released on April 15.  In this clip, Ron (Rupert Grint) and Mr. Weasley (Mark Williams) share a moment together in the Weasley storage shed while Mr. Weasley fiddles with the very radio Ron uses on his hunt for the horcruxes.  To view this forty second deleted scene from the film, click here.

That is so cool. I always wondered where the radio came from – never occured to met that Mr. Weasley might have made it, but it completely makes sense with all his tinkering…Can’t wait for the releases….

Lovely clip, really sweet cause we don’t see much of the relationship between Ron and his Dad in the movies or the books so it’s nice to see a bit of interaction. Shame they didn’t keep it in really.

Just that small bit captures and ties in to so much. And there is a tenderness as Ron takes the tool from his dad matched to a weariness. These are the kinds of details I’d love to see.
