J.K. Rowling has been announced as one of the celebrity guests on the season premiere of the BBC show "Who Do You Think You Are?"
According to the show's official site:
Across the course of seven books and eight films, Jo Rowling's Harry Potter series has captured the imaginations of millions of people around the world. Who Do You Think You Are? sets out to explore the French ancestry of the author's mother.

How can you “have the same ancestry” as someone else? =/
Can’t wait to watch! =D Hope we find out soon when it’ll be on, they usually tend to start in August/September.
Btw it’s a series not a season, we don’t really have season premieres of TV shows in the UK =P
It’ll be on in August on BBC (UK). And no we don’t do “seasons” like you do in the US. Sadly because of box sets etc still referring to “seasons” on DVDs, it has become common place to say season, when its wrong! I was watching E4 and the announcer called something a season finale which got me really irritated.
