WB has released a thrilling new poster for the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" film. Showing the trio astride the Gringott's Bank dragon, the new image follows the recently released action shot posters, now available in glorious high res. Dragon-riding after the jump:
WB has also released a second banner poster showing Harry Potter (Dan Radcliffe) and Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in the heat of battle. To view the image, click here
Ouch, two typos in one headline! Look sharp there, Leaky editors ;D
I must say the dragon looks better than some of the people in this series of posters *cough*Snape?!cough… and it is a sad great beast. I’m glad that Harry & Co. had the chance to free it.
I am pretty excited to see this part. In the first half of DH there is so much worry that when it shifts, as it does quite noticeably in this chapter, it is exhilarating!
I’m thinking that the “glorious” hi-res is what is making the posters so horrible. They seem to be hi-ressing (for lack of a better term) the life right out of the posters making them unforgivably artificial and lacking in any kind of depth and feeling. Of course, if this was just another teeny bopper plot-free action flick that wouldn’t be much of a problem but it’s not. It’s the last movie. I hope they will soon grace us with the posters Harry and company deserve.
I would like to point out that the dragon poster is not hi-res and it is much better, in my humble opinion, than all the others put together.
