We have a new video interview of Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom) being interviewed by Rolling Stone. In the video Lewis discusses the evolution of Neville, his favorite Beatles albums and songs (as well as what he thinks Neville's would be), and reflects on incidents on the set of Harry Potter. You can watch the interview here or below.
Love him! I love that he thinks he’s mediocre at best – he’s so modest! He’s an amazing actor and I can’t picture anyone portraying Neville as wonderfully as he did.
Matthew Lewis seems like such a nice guy! I thought he stole the show as Neville in Deathly Hallows Part 2. Does anyone know if/what he has a tattoo of on his arm?
OMG – he is soo adorable !!! What a gem of an interview – thank you so much for posting. “With a little help from my friends”, “Help!” and “I’m a loser” do really sum up Neville – as Matthew said, “I’m a loser” is about accepting that we have flaws and insecurities – and this acceptance is the first step on the path towards change. And who embraced change better than Neville Longbottom ??? He was the one who worked hardest on himself – and who emerged on top of it and better !!! Accepting help from friends is another thing that defines a strong person – and, as Stephen Fry once said, “Please help me” are three of the most beautifully honest words in the world ….
And I agree with Matthew on “In My Life” – it is incredibly gentle and shows a calmer, less angry side of John Lennon.
"I reckon it's time you ordered a new broom, Harry. There's an order form at the back of Which Broomstick... you could get a Nimbus Two Thousand and One, like Malfoy's got."[br]"I'm not buying anything Malfoy thinks is good," said Harry flatly.
Also check out (perhaps post) the one with him talking about the Directors! Such a lovely interview. So charming :)
