There's a new interview from E!News with Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) where he discusses, among other things, seeing the Ron/Hermione kiss on film and what his favorite moment playing Harry Potter has been over the past ten years. You can see the interview here or below. Enjoy!
oh man, why do they have to say stuff like this. i’m not trying to be a downer, but “i can see it’s just rupert and emma”….that doesn’t sound good at all! given how they felt about it, not comforting to hear they essentially broke character afterwards.
Really nice. I agree with Katie_Lily: I’ll bet when a) whenever McGonagall opens her mouth, b) when they kiss and c) when it ends they’ll be MASSIVE applause :)
aboandonedboyjon- I’m sure to him its “just rupert and emma” because he’s close to them. to us they will always be ron and hermoine so I don’t think it will be disappointing for us. Can’t wait to see this one but also sad to know that this is it….after this there’s no more suspense waiting for the next one.
Isn’t it nice the way they have all turned out to be nice and normal, Having seen the interviews with Rupert and Emma about that kiss it was amazing they even held the giggles in long enough to film it, they did a few takes so its the directors choice to leave the fun in it.
mmm, i don’t know. the last thing i want is for the kiss to be bad, but i can’t say a quote like that is too comforting after all i’ve heard. i mean, it’s the director’s choice, yeah, but it could be a bad one. he left in the hermione laugh after the cho/harry kiss in ootp and the first thing most people said to me was that it looked like an outtake. it only works if you don’t actually think “this looks like an outtake.” it’s supposed to just look natural. like, i said, i want it to be good, but i had to hear enough about how gross it actually was, i want to hear that despite that, it looks seamless and awesome and not an ounce of emma and rupert, just hermione and ron. i actually think it was slightly unprofessional for dan to say that…
The thing Wormtail had been carrying had the shape of a crouched human child, except that Harry had never seen anything less like a child. It was hairless and scaly-looking, a dark, raw, reddish black. Its arms and legs were thin and feeble, and its face
Love this! I am so excited for the Ron and Hermione kiss. I bet the whole theater will start cheering!
