"Deathly Hallows: Part 2" Reaches No. 3 Spot on All Time Worldwide Grosses

As calculated by Box Office Mojo, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" has reached the number three spot on the all time worldwide grosses list. Thus far, "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" has made $1.13 billion. The only two films that have made more are "Avatar" and "Titanic," coming in at first and second place respectively.

The last movie in a series such as Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings always does the best at the box office and in the various award ceremonies even when it isn’t the best movie in the series. And in either of these cases was the last movie the best in the series. It’s just the way it happens.

OMGosh! Saw it opening night, it was amazing! The whole theater cracked up at the part just before the battle when Neville and McGonagall are talking about explodin the bridge. I’m glad they added that but I would have liked it if they put more in the Aberforth scene and in the scene where Harry and Dumbledor are talking. But I think i liked prt 1 better.

This is fantastic! You go Part 2, finally a Potter film thats bringing the gold. Its a shame the past movies havent broken as many records, but better late then never. Now Alan Rickman need an Oscar nomination!!! :D

It should have been #1! Cool pic that they used for this article. That epilouge was probably my favorite part in the movie, where their kids go on the adventure like before. Cute.
