That’s fantastic!!! I’m looking forward to it!

Looks like this is goig to be released a few chapters at a time. What do you all think about this? Do you like a few chapters here & there so it will extend the experience or do you wish it were all at once so you can read / work through it at your own pace?

Ravenclaw78: I think it is a good idea, because it spreads the load out – I imagine the site will run very slowly or even crash if everyone rushes through CoS in one go. It encourages people to explore each moment more fully so they get more out of it, and it spreads the excitement out over a longer period. I also think it means they can start CoS earlier than they might otherwise do so as they can still be finishing off the later chapters and probably also shorten the gap between the end of CoS and PoA.
I wonder how much they will spread the book out, maybe 3 chapters every couple of weeks or a couple of chapters a week would be reasonable.

I agree @roonwit – I think the couple of chapters at a time will give us a reason to keep going back, which is what Pottermore has been lacking. Plus, like you said, hopefully by doing it that way, they can continue working on additional chapters / books behind the scenes so maybe there won’t be such a long wait in between.

i agree with roonwit…but i dont think they would be able to keep up pace at a couple chapters a week…but i wish they could!

I was really hoping Pottermore would have DH done by the time I’m forty. I’m 16 at the mmo, so that may bee asking too much. :/
Did ay one else think that Pottermore had ALL the books done when they opened?

Well a couple of chapters at a time is a good idea since it will give them time for the other books and it won’t go by as quick as philosophers stone

jordanricke: If they have organized it well then they should be able to do two chapters a week though CoS – the way to do it would be to start when they are sure they can finish the remaining chapters by the time their turn comes. As they are working on chapter 8 I think it is likely that the first 7 are done, and probably many of the later chapters as well given the earlier reports we have had, so I don’t think there will be much left to do on CoS.
