At the premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, J.K. Rowling finally revealed the role of Jessica Williams in Fantastic Beasts in a tweet, and posted a little more information on where we can expect to see her!

Jessica Williams (The Daily Show, Girls) will portray Professor Eulalie (Lally) Hicks, of America’s Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Just to make it clear, that likely means we’ll be seeing Ilvermorny in the globetrotting Fantastic Beasts films!

Jo also shared that we’ll be seeing Lally’s ‘true glory’ in the third Fantastic Beasts film, which leaves us wondering what hint we might see of her in Crimes of Grindelwald, and how we might end up back in the U.S. to see the American wizarding school:

Leaky had the opportunity to interview Williams at the Cursed Child premiere tonight, where she revealed that her Ilvermorny house is Thunderbird. Watch below for her discussions of being a huge Potter fan (she even weighed in on ‘The Great Apparition Debate’ after the release of the Crimes of Grindelwald trailer), and her excitement to see Cursed Child:

Why do you think we could be seeing Ilvermorny’s Professor? Are you excited to see Jessica Williams in the Fantastic Beasts series? Let us know your theories in the comments!
