Joshua Herdman is the youngest of four brothers. He started acting at the age of seven when his father, actor Martin Herdman, obtained an agent for him. Josh's first television appearance was in a Fruit of the Loom commercial. His big break came in 2000 when he auditioned for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone and was cast as Gregory Goyle. Josh has repeated that role in each of the four subsequent Harry Potter films. In 2002, he appeared in the film Thunderpants with Harry Potter cast mate Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). Josh's hobbies include boxing, writing movie scripts and making short films.
