JKR Tries to Stop New Versions of "Grotter"
CBBC Newsround reports on legal action being taken by JK Rowling's lawyers to block publication of 7,000 Dutch versions of Tanya Grotter and Her Magical Double Bass by Russian author Dmitry Yemetsin. The books are set to be published in April.

Magical Locks
Locks of hair that is. The winning bid for Daniel Radcliffe's hair lock was £751 and naturally, that was the most expensive lock. The total raised among all the celebrities was £3,506. Counting Down reports that actor Freddie Davies (click here for a pic) has landed a cameo on PoA. A reliable source says he'll be playing an unnamed portrait in a painting. Thanks Semoi, for the heads-up.

Where's the Quidditch?
Sean Biggerstaff posted on his website today that it's now official - he won't be in the PoA film. We at TLC wonder what this means for Quidditch in the film, as that's a turning-point for a few bits of the plot. Thanks to Emily for the info, and best wishes to Sean in your next projects.
Trainspotting the 11.00 to Hogsmeade
The Evening Times has an article about the train that's playing the role of the Hogwarts Express. The train traveled to Glasgow from Port William, where it caused a fire on the heather.
