A Sunday Mail article discusses a proposed owl-training school for 50 of the nocturnal birds in Cambeltown, Argyll, Scotland. The location, to be built by Rod & Nicky Angus, has been influenced by the bird appearances in the Harry Potter series.

...the books about them are selling like pumpkin pasties. According to the Sunday Sun, books about the Department for Education and Skills' controversial Standard Assessment Tests may actually outsell Harry Potter in the Northern UK.
