Asked about Harry Potter allusions in his comic strip "Get Fuzzy", cartoonist Darby Conley said that his character "Satchel would like Neville and my favorite characters are the Weasley twins. Midnight Deliveries
Deutsche Welle reports that German fans didn't have to go to bookstores at midnight to get their copies of OotP - instead, the Deutsche Post and the Weltbild book shipping company teamed up to make special midnight deliveries.

According to The Scotsman, the Amsterdam Court of Appeal blocked the publication of the Dutch translation of Russian childrens book "Tanja Grotter" today, saying the story was stolen from the popular Harry Potter books.
