"Magic Works" from GoF Soundtrack Nominated for Award

The World Soundtrack Award nominations have been announced, and a song from the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire soundtrack was among those listed. "Magic Works," with music and lyrics by Jarvis Cocker, was nominated in the "Best Original Song Written for Film" category. Prague Philharmonic Releases CD of Music From the Harry Potter Films

The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by James Fitzpatrick, has released a new CD entitled "Music From the Harry Potter Films." The CD's fifteen tracks include selections composed by both John Williams and Patrick Doyle, and showcase music from all four films released to date. Goblet of Fire Receives Eight Saturn Award Nominations

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire received eight nominations from the 34th Annual Saturn Awards. Goblet of Fire was nominated in the "Best Fantasy Film" category, and actor Daniel Radcliffe was included in the "Best Performance by a Younger Actor" category. Earlier we told you about a short exerpt of a song by the Weird Sisters band in Goblet of Fire being posted on Ateaseweb.com. Now the entire song "This is The Night" has been uploaded, as well as the first title for the score for Goblet composed by Patrick Doyle called "The Story Continues"; listen here.
