Sean Biggerstaff Wins Bafta Scotland Award

Actor Sean Biggerstaff was named “Best Actor” tonight at the Bafta Scotland awards. Sean, who portrayed Gryffindor Quidditch Captain Oliver Wood in “Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Chamber of Secrets,” won the award for his role in the UK television film “Consenting Adults.” The Scotsman has the entire list of winners, and has a quote from Sean, who said of the win: “I only got the job two days

Harry Potter DVDs Due in High Definition Format in Fall, 2007

Last year and confirmed in January of this year, we reported that all five of the Harry Potter films would be re-released in a High Definition DVD format some time in 2007. Biggerstaff Returns for Full-Length Cashback

After Sean Biggerstaff's short film, Cashback was nominated for an Academy Award, the makers have decided to expand the film into a full-length feature. Writer-director Sean-Ellis and producer Lene Bausager will turn the film from a 19-minute "supermarket dramedy" to a full-length film, using the entire ensemble cast, including former Harry Potter actor Sean Biggerstaff.

Thanks to Molliee for letting us know that the new docudrama on BBC1 about Charles II features at least two HP actors in supporting roles. Sean Biggerstaff was in the episode that ran last night, and Christian Coulson is expected to be onscreen later in the series as James, Duke of Monmouth.
