I’m cross-posting today, to show you an entry on the site for my book about the Ministry’s Veil, and why the characters heard what they did when they approached it. This was one of my favorite bits from the JKR interview of last fall, and one of the bits I tried hardest (and failed) to get into the book. I hope you enjoy!

I went to the bank yesterday to pay some Leaky bills (joy) and met Kingsley! Seriously, his name is Kingsley, and I was so delighted to meet someone named that, that he couldn’t stop laughing. Still, I saw this panel…. The panel consisted of the director of the first movie, Catherine Hardwic...

Hello! Welcome to my Leaky blog. I’ve found that more than six years covering this “beat” has given me a lot of thoughts about Potter, life, culture, fandom and more, that no one but you fine folk would be interested in hearing. Plus, I’ve been getting angry e-mails for two solid years from people who hate that our set reports have gone oral on the podcasts – and I agree with them, to a point (the point at which posting a set report during the week of the movie’s release becomes an act requir...
