So it has been quite a while since I have written an article in this blog. In the interim there have been some changes; I don't handle the full production of the Quibbler anymore, but rather submit articles from time to time and pitch in my 2 knuts worth when the articles are being discussed.I have to say at this point the awesomeness of the Quibbler is entirely due to the team that work on it every month, the full list of the usual suspects can be seen in every issue, but wordsaremagic...

And so the cycle begins again with the release of the Quibbler. If you hadn't noticed due to the ranting and raving over the breaking news from WB about HBP being moved to a new release date, yes we did deliver on time, as advertised and somewhat streamlined. We did away with the flash page turn gimmick - it was causing more aggro with readers than it was worth. I have to say I am particularly proud of the work put into this issue by the people behind the scenes, the articles...

OK so I am having writer's block on this blog. I wanted to write something funny, but at the moment the topic I had in mind to share with you is not giving me much inspiration for funny content. And if you have read the Quibbler, you might have noticed I quite like doing funny content. So I think I will not discuss the artwork of the Quibbler this week, but save that for another week and instead give you all an insight into some of the sillyness that I am prone to getting...

The clock is now ticking down to mere hours left until the submission deadline is reached for the August issue of Quibbler and I thought I’d give you an insight into my writing process as, believe it or not, I haven’t finished my article yet. Yes that’s right I’m riding it down to the wire this time and in the end will have to scurry to meet the deadline because the simple fact is that if I am late, I will have no choice but to tell myself that my article was unfortunately not in on time...

Just when you think you have it all figured out The first issue of the Quibbler is out the door and it seems to have been a big success with some 72000 views. While I can say with all honesty I am amazed, it turns out that once you’ve done it once, the second time is not easier. We tried to take all the feedback from the first tissue and incorporate it into the second issue and have had mixed success. Now I despair that although stylistically and content wise Issue 2 is much better than issue...

It all stared as a pretty cool idea, and seemed simple enough - 'Hey lets make an online version of the Quibbler and we'll put it in a book form so you can turn the pages!' That's like Thomas Edison saying "The heck with light bulbs - I'm going for fission reactors!" The fact of the matter is I have never done anything remotely like a newspaper, and my Flash knowledge is about enough to get me into serious trouble. That should have been a warning. But as the saying goes in my neck of...
