HAPPY BANNED BOOKS WEEK!

OK, first I would like to publicly send out my hatred to the system of GCSE’s at my school which means that I have ended up doing TWELVE instead of the average of eight! It wasn’t so bad last year, but now I am wacked! Anyhoo¦ It is Sunday and although I have a little prep, it’s not nearly as much as before, this is why I am able to write this¦ 😀

Today my friends, I am going to talk about a man who can edge out of any tight spot, is always in the clear and is the bane of Slytherin fangirls around the world¦ I am talking ’ of course ’ of Lucius Malfoy.

Right guys, I know this is a little off topic but I need a release so here is a soundtrack of three highly Lucius related song, and the explanations of why I chose them;

My Man Is A Mean Man ’ Stefanie Heinzmann

“My man is a mean man but he’s my man alone.”
I know this is a really silly one to start with, but it really quickly makes me think of many of my fan-girly friends who justify his “bad behaviour”. Now, I’m not really the biggest Lucius fan which had ever lived, however I do now get a little smile every time I hear this song!

Ambition ’ Iggy Pop

“Ah! But my associates, why they’re no more than opiates, always dragging me down.”
I have always related this song to Death Eaters, but Lucius especially. He will do ANYTHING in life to get ahead. I have always stood firmly behind the belief the Lucius has never been a true believer in Voldemort’s “cause” unlike his sister in Law ’ Bellatrix ’ who is loyal to the very end. Lucius is only interested in reaching his own ends; being the very ambitious person that he is.

And finally, just for the hell of it¦

Mean One ’ The Grinch!

“He’s a mean one, Mr. Grinch!”

Sorry I really couldn’t resist! Just to justify what I really think of him!

I must tell you that this really weird blog was inspired by a news article I read about Jason Isaacs’s new film “GOOD” with Viggo Mortensen. Anyway, the reason I noticed the news article was that it was headlined; “Aragorn Fights Nazis With Lucius Malfoy”¦ Now that sounded like far-out fanfiction!… It actually looks like a seriously good film.

I hope to not half a load of work, so I can write soon¦

PEACE OUT!
