I have to say having watched a couple of episodes that Bonekickers was rubbish, awful script and storylines and a complete waste of time (watched the 2nd episode in case it got better!) Adrian Lester however is a really good actor, he was in a series called Hustle about a group of con artists, he was the real brains and the leader in most of the scams and when he left it really did not work half so well. Quite like the possibility of him as the Doctor, but take the point about going for a more mature actor as a real contrast.
Now, I can see Adrian playing the Doctor. He’s a really good actor (seen him in Hustle, BoneKickers and Survirors – excellent in all of them!) and he would be a great choice!
