It seems a little obvious how this rumor got started. After all, he's in the Christmas special, which is called "The Next Doctor." So surely someone just jumped to a conclusion, right?
Probably shouldn't discount him all the way, though. There's always room for a good plot twist, such as Morrissey's Doctor having accidentally met #10 before he came into existence. You know, wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey. I don't think Morrissey will wind up being #11, but I concede it's possible. And the man's talented. You might have seen him in "The Water Horse" (which is worth renting if you've got little ones around). He was also in Blackpool (which also starred David Tennant), and "The Other Boleyn Girl."
