Most of my friends think he looks really evil. But I still think I will like him as the Doctor. And yes, I would LOVE a Dr Who HP crossover. Didn’t we already hear about them trying to do something like that before?

Personally, I can’t wait to see what they will do with Donna’s character, when and if she returns. Her and Eleven interacting has the potential to be absolutely hilarious.

Why are people saying that Rose was a better companion than Martha? At least Martha had some brains and wasn’t just a dumb blonde who ditched her boyfriend to run off with a "more interesting" guy. I think she was much more helpful to the Doctor than Rose or Donna (who basically just yelled every line she had for about 3/4 of the series).

Hope the new guy does well and that me not liking him at the moment is purely like when they went from Eccleston to Tennant.

I like this guy, but that can all change by his performance as the doctor. I wonder how he is going to play him.

I just recently started to watch doctor who and I can imagine the reaction to a ‘new’ doctor, especially since so many liked David. I do wonder though if anyone really did have a special expectation regarding who it would be. :) I think he can do a good job. Never heard or seen him before but better to give a chance :)

For a while now I have joked about Rupert Grint one day, when he’s older, assuming the position of the Doctor – that way he can finally be ginger!

In all seriousness now, what I would love is for there to somehow be a return for Donna. Even if she doesn’t return to the adventuring role, she needs to go back to the older, more mature and responsible Donna she was at the end of the series, not pre-Runaway Bride Donna.

I think Tonks would make an excellent Dr. Who companion, and I mean the character of Tonks specifically not just the actress. Everytime the doctor would annoy her her hair would change colour!

Evanna Lynch would be a wonderful companion! I’d LOVE that.
Am I the only one who still misses Rose? She was my favorite.

For me, David Tennant will always be The Doctor, as he was the most aggressive, manly of the group.

I love the idea of Michelle Ryan being the companion – I loved her as the bionic woman. Morena Baccarin would be another lovely pick.

Let’s just go ahead and get Draco as the assistant! Does it really have to be a girl? Draco would be amesome in time-travel!

The idea of a Who/HP crossover is just so… SQUEE!!! Lol, I would love for Luna Lovegood to be the Doc’s new companion, she would just be the funniest… it’s the Quidditch commentary all over again…. :D

Well Doctor Who and Harry Potter go together like bangers and mash. We all love our British Cousins’ fantasy. I saw Doctor Who the first time when Leaky reported the Harry Potter references in the Shakespeare episode. Now I love it to death and own all the new series on DVD. I think it would be a fine treat to have Ivanna Lynch on the show. I only wish the Doctor’s Daught got her own spin-off and her own TARDIS.
